Usually the best policy if you get what you think what may be a postgame rage request is just to let it sit for a couple hours. By the time you accept it, they likely won't remember you or really much about your game.
I play on the Asian server so I never get added and abused after I win. Literally never.
What I would do to experience the sweet, salty tears just once. Please.
You guys are so lucky this happens to you. It's frickin hilarious! Damn Asian people are too nice and respectful.
Actually, I had a guy add me once after I won and type loads of stuff in Korean (that I obviously have no idea how to read). Being Asian he probably just complimented me on my deck and went on his merry way.
My entire friends list is from people that I've sent the request to. Strange that I've never received a real request :(

This shows my point, everyone is different, i think if you play the game long enough you gonna have a moment where you just angry after a loss but every one has a different way of showing that, i've never added to hate on people but i don't think those that do aren't actual bad people so just don't add anymore if you think is gonna be hate or just add and lol at the rage kids.
I think that all the responses telling the OP to "grow up" are missing the point.
It doesn't hurt my feelings when somebody adds me as a friend just to rant. I think it is hilarious. But I do think that it screws up the culture of the game because 90% of the time that I try to add someone after an awesome game, they ignore it since they think I am going to rant on them.
I don't know what the solution is, or even if there is a solution. But I would like the chance to learn more from my opponents after a game and the current culture prevents that.
EDIT: The only time that I would actually try to friend an opponent for the purpose of ranting would be to gloat after destroying a Mill Rogue. lol
Look for the report harassment option on your Bnet client. It's no longer there. You can be as much as an asshole you want and there isn't even a way to report you, unless, you know, you send blizzard a letter.

Most people don't care about some random person insulting them in a video game chat, they have so many important things to think about in real life that something like that is meaningless for them. Life is hard and most people know it, so they don't give a f...k about things like that. Do you really want to know why so many players don't accept your friend requests? It is just because they don't care about talking with a random person about a random match in a video game, that is why. Not everyone is like us that loves to talk about Hearthstone, and you have to accept it.

There is actually 3 pages for this thread. Over something that the player has absolute control of. Do not add people after a game when you've beaten them pretty badly. Are you expecting them to say "hey, your deck was really strong good game!" type of thing?

And yeah, I really like Ramsay and Donald Trump, but that is not your business, I'm free to have anything I want on my signature as long as I don't put something there that goes against the forum rules.
Actually, by putting it in your sig, you are making it other people's business, and you are definitely begging to be judged by it. If you wanted to keep it off limits, you would keep it to yourself.

i play everyday on Asia and yes i have been abused once. Since then i started to BM and even roping. i am not proud of myself for doing that. That also makes me to no longer accepting friend requests and simply just leave it there to feel good of myself of how many salty players

So, are you telling me that you are begging to be judged by people for having a toad as your avatar (from the WoG trailer) with tentacles coming out of it's mouth? Jesus Christ bro, stop with this nonsense please. As I said before, it's not your business people.
i think a great way to stop hateful friend requests would be to have a cool down period before you can unfriend someone after you send a friend request. At least people get the right of reply. That way you can unfriend them straight away if you don't like what they say, but if you want to reply you get a chance before they guerrilla snipe you with some insults then instantly unfriend you.

lol, making sure people can reply with some insults? How would that help anything?

So, if you aren't proud of yourself for doing that, why don't you stop? Do you have selfcontrol problems or something like that?
Seriusly guys, everyday new thread about crap like this, learn to ignore.

IMAGINE if your 7 year old child or grandchild could play Hearthstone and get a friend request -- without you going "WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT..! STOP! DO NOT ACCEPT THAT INVITATION!"

Meh, most kids don't really have any problem with some stupid insults. They are usually accustomed to the dumbasses that insult everyone at school and are hated by their teachers and classmates. There are always kids like that at school, and everyone knows it, or do you live under a rock? Of course, it sucks, but we are not here to discuss that.
I'm pretty sure most kids are much more mature than all the people complaining about this stupid shit on this thread, which is very sad.

For my own amusement, really. If someone is going to friend me just to send some garbled, semi-literate insult, I should get the chance to give them a piece of my mind. What's good for the goose and all that...

If you are too sensitive, don't add anyone unless you know them.
Dead but dreaming
