To be fair, the new decks all require some epics and legendaries from this expansion, so not everyone has them. Plus Zoo with Voidwalker and Acidic Swamp Ooze is quite good against Jade and Pirates.
not everyone is savy enough to save gold for new expansions and not everyone is rich enough to spend a couple hundred bucks in a card game when there are real responsibilities to pay for.
and those decks you mentiones are he cheapest ones, it's good that they're viable but not T1.
And are you sure that the old decks are not good enough any more? If people want to rank up and Secret Hunter makes an easy climb, why shouldn't someone use it?
All those decks work just fine without new cards and have good win rate. So, why not?

Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
So they played every card in their deck and that's how you know they don't use any new cards?
Lol, good point. But even if all his opponents weren't really playing with new cards (for the reasons some users already stated on this thread), the fact he is so sure about it, without the possibility of really proving it, is hillarious, since I really doubt his opponents played all his cards every single match or even hitted fatigue, and of course, considering the decks he mentioned, it's pretty obvious most of those matches weren't too long.
After I play a bazillion Arena runs and get a reasonable collection of the new cards, I'll start playing MSG decks on ladder. Of course by that time the new expansion will be out already.
I've already thrown in some of the new cards in my casual murloc quest decks.
I don't get it either. The old midrange shaman and zoo aren't the most skill intensive decks and they still work, so maybe that is why? Not everyone has time or money to spend on the game. Seecret hunter is confusing though. They have piss poor matchups against almost everythiny currently on the ladder.
The new decks have yet to be optimized, and people don't want to craft the new legendaries until Data Reaper or Meta Snapshot confirms that they're worth getting, so playing it safe is good enough for them. Fine by me, I'm having a blast with the non-optimized new archetypes
Midrange Shaman is still basically the same deck. The one I tried swapped out the Fire Elementals and Thunderbluffs for Waterspeakers and Lotus Agents. Other decks like Freeze Mage just didn't receive any cards for it.
i bought around 20 packs with gold , the only new deck i could afford is an aggro paladin buff deck (excellent vs any control deck , as any aggro paladin is really ) and crafting the dragon priest new cards . Some people don't have the extra income to spent on packs ,even if i had the 50 euros i won't spend it on packs , a card game isn't worth more than paying 20 euroes per 30 min "adventure'' which basically paying a blizzard yearly fee for this fine product ,
i will eventually enjoy my ranked time , for now i will just keep playing dailies and arena
midrange shaman, secret hunter, midrange shaman, zoolock , midrange shaman
100% old caards, not a single card from msg, not a single alteration!!
wtf
My Awesome Decks
Lack of cards it is.
Really? Between rank 12 and 7 I faced a lot of Renolocks, Reno Mages, Pirate Warriors and Jade Druids too, ofc.
English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.

Maybe some people didn't purchase 400 MSoG packs on release and haven't opened many new cards yet?
Or maybe they have every MSoG card, but find that MR Shaman and Secret Hunter are still good without the new cards.
There's no law saying that you have to use the new cards.
Which is fine because we have way more tools to deal with board flood decks...
But I see what you're saying....why would you want to play those with all the new cards/decks?
Uhh the only one of those I've seen is midrange shaman and only 3 of those
And are you sure that the old decks are not good enough any more? If people want to rank up and Secret Hunter makes an easy climb, why shouldn't someone use it?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.

Nature is the Day.
Man is the Sun.
Woman is the Moon.
The Stone is the Sky.
The Art is the Way.

Secret paladin is still very much viable without any new cards from MSOG.
It still remains tier 1 deck in wild.

Well, all the new mage cards are clunky as s**t. So there you go.
