Even if I wanted to, I could not track and remember what turn each of my opponent's cards had been drawn on, whether the card was created and not drawn from the deck, whether the card had been returned to hand, how much its cost was reduced by Thaurissen, and whether it is the original coin, keeping in mind that all of these objects are identical rectangles only differentiated by their position in a fan display whose animation itself is also constantly moving. Even assuming I had a memory that agile and perfect, I would still have to be able to visually track and mentally process all the quick and bizarre card-play animations, including animations in which the card disappears briefly from view when going from one area to another.
Who can do that? Can you?
I probably could if I wanted to, with some pen and paper for sanity checking (and because I make no claim that I could do it without). I've seen streamers keep track of things like that quite easily, often knowing if a card has been in a persons hand since the start of the game or not, and knowing how many of their opponent's cards received a Thaurissan discount. It's an important thing to keep track of when trying to decide if you're dead next turn.
Just because decktrackers make it easier, doesn't mean it isn't entirely possible without them.

No one is saying you can't do it with pen & paper - if you couldn't it would be cheating. You yourself are discussing advantages. Having something like that automated vs pen and paper is clearly an advantage.
I should also mention the fact that many deck trackers also continually calculate your chances of drawing a card (based on whether you have one or two cards in your deck). It's just not practical to keep track of all this stuff using a pen and paper. Having more time to focus on the game, with all of this information presented to you is clearly the favourable option, and is therefore advantageous. I'm not saying it's cheating, but I stick with my original comment.
You are on another level if you think that decktrackers are not providing an advantage over those without decktrackers.

I can concede that decktrackers provide an advantage over players who aren't attempting to keep track of those stats, and if they were attempting to keep track of those stats they'd probably use a decktracker. It's a bit of a conundrum - yes using a decktracker provides you with easier access to information, but those who aren't use a decktracker probably aren't looking for that information anyway.
As far as I know there isn't anyone who wants to keep track of this information that is voluntarily doing so without a decktracker, so how much of an advantage is it for one player - yes they have access to more information, but the other player wasn't going to use that information anyway.
Try to tell this to Blizzard tournament players... They would love to have a deck tracker but they can't.. because it is in the rules.
You are bad at argumenting. We are saying: "Deck tracker is an advantage"
Your answer is: "People that don't want to keep track of this info will not use deck tracker...." (which is not true for example in qualifiers)
You are so wrong you cannot even answer our arguments so you just try to put other true (or discutable) facts to distract us (and yourself) from the fact you were wrong in your precedent posts. You could be a pretty good politician.
When deck tracker are not allowed, only skilled players can remember these info and this make a difference between player levels.
When deck tracker are allowed, everyone has access to these info and the skill difference is reduced. Thus the game become less and less skilled based.
if every player using pen and paper without deck tracker , every turn will take 90s. and the game will take long time. like in tourney, the pro player take 90 s every turn to plan , take note and play mind games.
Deck tracker is a choice open to everyone! You don't have to pay money, you don't have to be on a certain level, there's nothing required to use it & it's easily accessible to anybody who WANTS to use it. If HS included it in the game functions then that should be a choice to use it as well which wouldn't ruin casual. Honestly, deck tracker should be just that, you track your deck. If any changes should be made, it should be that it targets your deck and your deck only. I personally I don't think it's necessary b/c anyone can use it, it's called a resource and all games have resources. And it's very useful in arena to be able to see ur cards, which ones have been played and what you have available.
I don't know if someone else have noticed that when you use a tracker, you know which cards you have in your starting hand 3-5 seconds before they are shown by the game GUI. That also could be an advantage if your opponent doesn't use a tracker. You have more time for thinking in your mulligan.
What do you think?
People usually mulligan for about 5-15 seconds, so these extra 3-5 seconds won't mean much tbh
Anyways, deck trackers help you win becuase you can see which cards are left in your deck and play around topdecks when needed, you can also know what removals you have left and what removals you already used, but they are not illegal
Indeed, and a normal human being is able to track all those by themselves already if they have a sliver of brain (and memory) so deck tracking is just making your life easier, but it means no advantage whatsoever, if it does I would lose every time but I just went in a 10-win winstreak yesterday and a 7-win winstreak the day before, and my average around 1.7 wins per 3 matches, and I use no tracker.
Trackers are just there to make an already easy game easier for you to play it, nothing wrong with that.

Decktracker is just a digital reminder about what cards you've drawn and what's left. You can keep track of that mentally and it doesn't change the draw order from your deck so no, I don't believe it is cheating.
Since everyone can easily use it , NO it is NOT cheat at all . I you choose not to use it it's your own choice and you should not accuse others of doing it .
Everyone says "it's not cheating because it can be done on pen and paper." But.. nobody does it on pen and paper. The only people who take notes are pros,at tournaments, and that's usually notes on their opponents decks, because they have their own decks memorized (usually).
Not to say I haven't used deck tracker - I mean I did when I played heroic brawl at my little brothers place. I really wanted 12 wins (which I got, hehe). But I agree, this malchezar bug needs to be fixed, and I wish blizzard would implement a deck tracker in game. That way it's even ground for everyone.
The official word is trackers are allowed. Period. Should blizzard fix the bug where trackers are able to pick up Prince before mulligan? Yes.
However that said, my opinion is that using a tracker in general lends 5% more to win rate. Cannot be just 1% unless you only play pirate warrior where good draws eliminate your opponent within 4-6 turns and you can easily remember what cards have been used by your opponent.
Yes you can say one can use pen n paper to do track.. But come on there is a timer to your turns, sometimes we have to use the whole duration before making our play. Try using pen and paper for everything, including calculating your on board damage etc etc. Ideally blizzard should have an inbuilt tracker within the game. For mobile it can be a pop up button overlay. That will even things out. But well these are not important stuff for team 5 anyway. So #justsaying

Yes, if you use it the cyber police will come to your house and arrest you!

It's not a cheat.
It just makes the life easier for you, so you can know which cards left from your deck.
Instead of writing these stuff on Notepad manually (or in memory): there's a program that can automatically do that for you :)
The good thing about DeckTracker: it can also show you the already played/discarded cards from your opponent.

Well prince makes the deck size 35 so thats how it knows they have him (i think), I don't think its cheating
Well played my friend

BBrode himself has said with regards to deck trackers that if it is something you could do on paper, then it's fine.
That seems fair
