Thankfully HS isnt graphics heavy, so any laptop with decent connection will do fine. And yea you mentioned the Arena draft tool, it certainly helps with the learning curve. Deck trackers do more than just allowing you to see what cards you have left, but also to track your performance statistics for each deck/class.. pretty useful to have. But of course if you are not so into HS, or when mostly on the move, then mobile devices will do fine for such gaming entertainment actually, dont have have to be so serious right? :) 

It helps with decision making and ultimately helps give a few % points of win rate advantage

Legendary cards are unique in their effects but doesn't mean they are more powerful than lower rarity cards. Very few legendary cards deserve to have a deck built around them, and certainly not your 4. You can safely dust them all really. 

I suggest you play standard and not arena. Use gold earned to buy packs. Arena is good for collecting dust and only if you can achieve a decent win rate.. 

 I thought I was playing against AI so for the first turn I was doing other stuff and only came back when it's roping. It was only at turn 3 then I realised it's a human player when I saw the cards being hovered before being put into play. LOL am I the only one? 

At 75% collection I would say it's still worth it.. If your goal is also to in time complete the collection. Cuz crafting missing cards only to get them in packs later is so shitty. If it makes you happier playing priest with tyrande then all the more go for it. 

Lets face it, time is always going to be a factor. But without sufficient skill in piloting your choice deck against the meta, you are going to have a hard time in grinding it to legend. It may be to the point whereby you need 400-500 games to hit legend if your win rate is horrendous since there are no win streak bonuses after rank 5. Like some others have said, there are players who try very hard but never able to break even rank 10, that has to be because of poor deck choice (inability to play decks that fare better against current meta) or misplays. 

And ben brode has admitted that they agree that the current rank system is too much of a grind. And above rank 5, there is no benefit other than bragging rights (if you haven't hit legend before that is).

On a side note, now is the best time to farm your golden portrait before shaman gets nerfed to oblivion.. At least from how I see things, playing the most efficient deck type for each meta is the fastest way to get them all golden, for those that are interested in them. 

The official word is trackers are allowed. Period. Should blizzard fix the bug where trackers are able to pick up Prince before mulligan? Yes. 

However that said, my opinion is that using a tracker in general lends 5% more to win rate. Cannot be just 1% unless you only play pirate warrior where good draws eliminate your opponent within 4-6 turns and you can easily remember what cards have been used by your opponent.

Yes you can say one can use pen n paper to do track.. But come on there is a timer to your turns, sometimes we have to use the whole duration before making our play. Try using pen and paper for everything, including calculating your on board damage etc etc. Ideally blizzard should have an inbuilt tracker within the game. For mobile it can be a pop up button overlay. That will even things out. But well these are not important stuff for team 5 anyway. So #justsaying
