What does control paladin do, other control decks can not? There is not much to be honest. I tend to shy away from control paladin builds because of that. Slow midrange is the way to go for paladin (or secretardin)
I think even midrange pala is too slow for current meta. Thats why I decided to counter the meta with combination of divine shield and midrange. So basically you can play fast early game and take over the game from then on. Works perfectly against paladins.
Yea midrange is strong, but secret pally, facehunter, dragon priest, control warrior and a lot of other decks can win with ease against it IMO
I actually think midrange paladin is one of the stronger matchups versus at least CW from that list. It's hard for CW to deal with the number of minions that it pumps out.

well i do play mostly midrange pala, cw with justicar manages to hold me off when im close to finishing him of :) then i run out of steam .. I guess opinions are subjective :)

Secret Paladin: I have 100% winrate with Midrange Pally vs Secret Pally! Secretless beats Secret Pally hard.
Face Hunter: I loose a lot to Face Hunter but it seems that I have a curse of drawing poorly against them. If I draw well I can win.
Dragon Priest: I'm on 50% but I haven't faced many. But yeah, it won't be easy if they have a fast start.
Control Warrior: I have 100% winrate vs CW. They may have Justicar Trueheart but you also have it and your Justicar beats theirs (especially with double Quartermaster). The only way for them to win is to Sylvanas your Tirion but if they can't (and you play arround it), Tirion is usually GG.
i fixed my ratios with blood knights. Works well in any way. Forces them to deal with phat minions early

It's the Justicar + 2x QM midrange paladin that wrecks CW. I played mostly CW all season in October and towards the end I started running into a trimmed secret deck that was running Justicar + 2QM (Something I tried without secrets to some success in September) and it's just too hard for CW to deal with 2x recruits a turn; especially with the threat of them becoming 3/3s or 5/5s.

Mid Range Secret has most of the elements control pally has anyway.
it's just over all stronger and as someone mentioned, games tend to go faster. Plus, once in a while someone will concede to the Christmas Tree turn.
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
Hahaha christmas tree. Good one!
