Since when do we lock the finalist poll? I can't even reply to people or continue discussing the cards. I know that the voting is over, but there is often more discussion that occurs afterwards. I do like the rules this week. Making cards that stand on their own is a tough one some times, but its definitely easy to make large flashy creatures so having to make simple yet dynamic ones is sweet.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
I'm a little confused about the rule saying advertising here by asking for suggestions to their post is illegal, but that seems like the majority of what this has been?
Can people ask for suggestions or no? I'm not asking to be snarky, I just want to know as I'm new to the WDC and don't want to break any rules by posting here.
Thank you!
What the rule is talking about is people who pop in here on the 3rd or 4th day, with something like "Any thoughts?" Having already submitted the card, and then are never heard from again on the topic. If you pop in here, and then engage in discussion about your card or others, then you're fine.

This is my card but my concern is that while other effects get removed when static effects leave play (like Tundra Rhino or Stormwind Champion), removing Silence is not something that exists in the game so I would imagine this would just kill buff effects permanently. My other idea was just making it a Battlecry similar to Wailing Soul but making it "ALL" minions. It would probably make the card easier to implement (i.e. I'm not sure how buffing a minion after having played Tyr as a static effect would interact) so thoughts on whether to make it a Battlecry or static?

I like this minion a lot! If you leave it like that, I would write it with upper case ALL, and silence in bold and lower case. I would submit with the normal silence, because of the rule to make things simple. A new mechanic like that would be a bit messy to explain, even though I think it is a great idea.
Alternatively, it can be "Charge, Silence any minions damaged by this minion."
The difference is that, the previous one works initiatively. It gets effective before attack, so it removes buff effect from the target being attacked.
The second one is more passive. It allows murmur the ability to silence other minions that tries to attack it.
You can often find this minion damaged, since mostly it is forced to attack a minion, which is pretty much similar to the Murmur in WoW that when you see Murmur, it's already damaged decently.

Maybe take the best of both worlds, and make it a "At the end of each turn, silence ALL minions" ?
Could still leave room for some brief buffing or combo potential (either on your side, or the enemy's) but no effect would persist beyond that. Also would allow for some minions avoiding getting silenced if Tyr gets killed that round.
Thanks guys! Yeah the real reason I wanted it to be static was because I kind of wanted it to not just hose all minions in play permanently. That way you could play something like Force of Nature the next turn and the treants live for as long as Tyr is alive. Alternatively, the opponent would be incentivized to trade their Boom for Tyr for their bots to get their Deathrattle back.
I kind of like the idea of mimicking a static effect with an "At end of turn" effect like Kel'Thuzad though, I'm just not sure how fair that would be. i'll think about it a bit before I start editing. Really though, thanks for the awesome feedback!
@PupleMD But if I don't put that, it might be misunderstood and he won't trigger Inspire effects when he comes down as his effect will only come into play once he is on the board.
That is true. With this week's restrictions, you might just have to reword it so that is the effect, or choose a weaker one.
I want to ask you about my idea this week. I wanted to make a big boss' card, so I searched some of my favourite raids for an interesting candidate. This is what I created, and I'm pretty proud of it.
General Vezax was a boss in Ulduar, the penultimate, and had a very interesting ability: his aura made normal mana regeneration nearly impossible. I thought about it and thought that this had incredible posibilities in the game. I think this would be a great fit in many controlish decks because it will effectively cancel out any combos or big minions until he is dealt with.
I was going to ask you because he may be a bit OP. Maybe rise its attack to 7 so that he can be BGH'ed?
EDIT: Just in case, its ability makes both players start their turns with only half their mana crystals filled. Your opponent will start with 4 mana crystals next turn, then you will have 4 on your turn 9, and 5 on turn 10. You will not fill your mana crystals completely until the turn after it is killed or silenced. It is a very strong effect that is balanced because it is symmetrical.
Crazy stats, but it kills itself in 4 turns. You'd probably want to play it in a deck with healing so it could last a little longer. What do you think? Is it strong enough to be played? Or is it too strong?

You're right :/. Don't be rude, I really want to create good cards but it's hard (I'm french moreover :3). What do you think about this after a little bit of adjusting ?

Isn't this exactly what Wilfred Fizzlebang does, but without the 50% modifier?
Basically, I think you're allowed to get push the power on an 8-drop's inspire a bit higher, especially for Warlock.
May I also add how stupid "Cho'gall, twilight ogre" sounds? Just Cho'gall, would work fine, as he's an universally recognizable character. Or you could add "Master of Twilight", "of the Twilight's Hammer" or similar, if you reeeaally feel like giving him a title (although it's probably unnecessary)
That aside, it's a very weak card (as TheWamts says above, check Wilfred Fizzlebang). True enough, this is a fatter body (offset by the effect being random), but you probably should go back to the drawing board with this card.
He already posted it though. It's true that it's like a stronger Wilfred, but maybe you could take a spin on the whole draw and summon ability, to further distinguish them. He could maybe change it to a strong battlecry, like a kind of Varian for Warlock. I don't know.

Thanks man!! thats great ^^ hope i go at least to the vote phase :P

Commanding Shout, Charge, Shield Slam
Then go face.
Well, a 4-card 13-cost combo isn't something you should worry about. It works pretty well with Commanding Shout and Shield Slamtogether.
The text could be: "Whenever this minion takes damage, gain that amount of attack"
Previlage leads to insolence.
Thanks!

Come Play Make the Keyword!!!
Check out my Worgen Class in the Class Competition
Priest can probably OTK with this on turn 8.
Hey guys, may I have your thoughts about my submission ? :D
Well, what's the point? By turn 8, more draw power isn't really necessary.
Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
Plus it's actually 10 mana for maybe drawing an extra card.

Any feedback on my card, General Vezax?
Most powerful when hidden behind a taunt (Just like Kel'Thuzad). It will punish your enemies for letting your tokens live.
So, is it balanced enough?
Which version is the best?
Maybe 6 mana? I'm not sure how much leeway this rather hefty tempo loss is worth.
