My preferred card is definitely Phalanx. For a 7 mana legendary, Hakkar pretty situational; he's only really good if both you and your opponent have a lot of minions, in which case he gets BGH'd. If you draw him off the top with no board or if your opponent has no board, he's probably worse than Boulderfist or Force Tank Max. Ritual of Knowledge seems like it'd be worse than Sprint most of the time due to the discard clause, plus the fact that, unless you life tap with Fizzlebang in play, a Warlock has no reasonable way to reduce the cost of it, whilst a Rogue can prep out Sprint. Also, y'know, the potential to horribly, horribly mill yourself if you're stupid. Phalanx, on the other hand, seems kinda cool, though perhaps a little underpowered for a class card, considering the existence of Stormwind Champion.
In other news, don't suppose I could get some feedback on my own submission?
I intend to use it for more than just this contest.
Thanks for the feedback. Why would you say Phalanx is underpowered compared to Stormwind Champion? Keep in mind Phalanx buffs itself, so it is 4/7 with buff, and it provides a better buff for your minions at one less cost. I thought Phalanx would be played in a taunt warrior deck, both to protect it and buff your taunt dudes.
For your card, I am not sure it is legal under this week's rules. Seems like an ambiguous case. I would get a ruling from a mod before submitting it. In terms of balance, it is kinda hard. It is most powerful if they have 4 or 5 minions out. It's kinda like a more expensive consecration then. If they only have one minion it is like an expensive fireball. If they have two minions, it's a more expensive Multishot. I guess you trade off efficiency for versatility though, so it is probably the right cost.
Two main reasons; A. It's a class card, so it should be afforded more power than a neutral and B. It isn't as reliable as Stormwind Champion. You have to have at least 2 other minions for it to be anything but a vanilla creature and your opponent can kill your other minions to make it lose the buff. If you draw Stormwind Champion after a board wipe, it's still a 6/6..
Hail of Arrows possibly could use a slight buff, but the fact it can be both a 'kill a big thing' and 'kill a bunch of small things' make me hesitant to do so. That, and the card it's based off is for a class which has deliberately expensive/inefficient removal. Perhaps, as a hunter card, it could be better, but eh.
Hopefully, we're allowed to change entries if it doesn't qualify.

Edit: *Reads rules* Crap.
Okay, what if it were a 3/6, unbuffed? At one less mana, that's only one stat below Stormwind Champion. When buffed it would have the same total stats as SC, but at one less cost, and its giving a better buff. Or would you think it needs to be, like, a 4/6 or 3/7?
I think your card probably fits the rules, but it would suck to be disqualified, so I would be careful.
My card. Please tell me how much it should cost. (I'm guessing 6 if this is underpriced.)
e.g. You have 4 minions: Each of your minions gain +3/+3.
As others have said, this should be 6 mana. Playing Muster into Hero Power into this would be equal to Quartermaster on an empty board, but if there are any more, this could get out of hand in a hurry.
Now, as for my idea, I tried using this card for an earlier competition but did not submit him then, but here's his second chance with a slightly different mechanic:
This guy excels in aggressive decks where there is a lot of support backing him up. If his support gets killed off, though, he loses his backbone and reveals his true colors - a cowardly wreck. Yes, he will lose taunt at this point.
I wonder, if there is something that requires a maximum number of minions to activate, does it has a limit of 0 or 1, as declared for minimum amount? Or else, I've made a card that works if enemy has 1 minion only:
Quote from loopuleasajump Most broken card in the thread. needs to cost 6-7+
Please explain how is it broken. It's a spell, so you don't get another body, it requires someone to remain alone, and yes, it counters Deathwing if it's not backed with Dreadsteeds. But alone, to make it work, you need to alter their board. Although if an enemy has just been wiped by Hellfire and drops Sludge Belcher, grabbing him out of the blue is a serious OP move. Maybe an additional requirement of having 2 or more friendly minions to depict a crowd to whack on that poor fella would do?
Easiest way to think about it is to compare it to its competitors. Most obvious one is Bloodlust, which is +3 power (only) to all friendlies for 5 mana and for 1 turn only. Typically, Bloodlust is used as a finisher. I doubt anyone actively uses it (unless they're desperate or rather silly) unless they have at least 3 minions in play. On one hand, United We Stand doesn't have the utility of 'I have one unit in play and need to push through that extra couple points of damage to kill their minion', but it's a permanent effect, so it doesn't necessarily need to end the game immediately. The biggest problem I see is that you can combo this with Muster For Battle on the same turn. It's not quite the '12 damage out of nowhere' of FoN + Savage Roar, but I'm pretty sure it isn't hard to fathom a situation where you go from having two spider ghosts against a full board into having five 5/5s.
Right now, it's still probably too strong. I'm not certain how you'd go about balancing it without making it unplayable, though. It's not so much about what turn you can play it on, so much as what you can do before playing it; if you have the chance to play minions before this comes down, it becomes so much better, whilst if you have to deal with what's already on the board, it's pretty bad. Maybe make it activate at the end of your turn or something? So that you can't just auto-win if you have a full board? Or maybe make it cost like 12, but reduce the cost based on the number of minions you had at the start of the turn?
Edit: Welp. I got completely ninja'd. Still, I'd argue that if you want to make it a reasonable card without making it terrible, mana isn't what you need to fix, since it's potentially borked at 7, whilst probably terrible at 8.
I just posted this to the submission page, but every time I read it I trip over the wording and for the life of me I don't know if it's actually awkward sounding or I'm just overthinking it. I'm considering "For each other friendly minion on the battleifled, put a Coin in your hand." or "Put a Coin in your hand for each other friendly minion.", or even simply "For every other friendly minion, put a Coin in your hand." I also don't know if I need the comma or if it should be "add" rather than "put" a Coin to/in your hand.
Maybe 3 mana? I'm envisioning a turn 10 where you fireball twice to the face for at LEAST 16 damage, that can't be mitigated by taunt like FoN/SR can. This way, you can only get 1 super fireball, and another 1-2 weaker spells.
Or make it give a minion +1 spell damage for each (enemy) minion, this way you need to have a minion on board and if you can't finish your opponent this turn, he can actually deal with it. Either way, it would be op with thaurisan and board freezes like frost nova in freeze mage at least.
I decided to ditch the Paladin card (knowing it may never be balanced) and instead make a Hunter card (which is inspired by Beneath the Grounds). There are two versions: Which one is better? Should it cost (2) instead?
My preferred card is definitely Phalanx. For a 7 mana legendary, Hakkar pretty situational; he's only really good if both you and your opponent have a lot of minions, in which case he gets BGH'd. Actually it's "the Coin". See Cutpurse. Otherwise it seems correct.
Just submitted this. Unsure about the statline, I was thinking it should possibly be a 7/4.
Man this is just op. Freeze all enemy characters = frost nova better = 3 mana, so you are already playing a 7/5 for 4 mana and you also deals damage, this is a bit insane i think, a 7 mana 6/5 or 5/5 would be much better and would not be target for bgh

My first idea so far and i am not sure about the balancing but the idea is to create a strong minion if you are lacking board presence.
Its a druid card because it fits the idea of a talon attacking out of nowhere :D
Plus providing a beast synergy for the beastdruid
Sweet Sweden, that looks OP. Maybe raise both costs by (1)? Maybe not...
The 4/4 version is better, but it's uninteresting because we already have beneath the grounds. This type of investment card is not the way to go in this meta.
My entry this week. ^^ The art is supposed to be someone holding a coin.
Interesting card, but is it worth the mana? I think it should be 1 mana less and act like a minion preparation. You could play 3 minions, cast this one for 1 mana, then gain basically an innervate, then play an Eviscerate or hold off your Coins for a later time.
Cool concept.
Thank you. :) I was on the fence on making it cost 1 or 2 mana, decided to go with two as it could potentially be very strong when you play a lot of minions in the end game. Might re-adjust.

Okay, an alteration. Same concept, altered text and cost.
I think 6 mana is too much, but minion requirement should be enough. And yes, Imp-losion is a great activator for this.

Okayish card, not that bad. While some may vie to go face with this card, others would be wise to trade with this card.
Your 4/5 version's cool, though.
Make it 4 mana.
Not bad, can work in a Dreadsteed deck. Or not.

I like the idea. Not quite sure about balance problems. 3 ~ 6 mana are all acceptable to me.
Interesting, but a bit too complicated since you need to clarify how it is rounded up (I saw it in the submission thread).
