I really love the lore behind the Old Gods (and everything Lovecraft). I tried to fit their methods in to a card idea of how their whispers would slowly creep up on you and lead to your death.
Similar to how in Ahn'Qiraj you would hear him say:
Death is close...
You are already dead.
Your courage will fail.
Your friends will abandon you.
You will betray your friends.
You will die.
You are weak.
Your heart will explode.
I'd love any kind of feedback or even any ideas you guys have for other old gods like Yogg-Saron
If you like the idea, you can vote for it here. Thanks!
It should be more like one minion is taken each round and unable to attack and the rest of your opponent's minions/attacks can do only 1 damage to c'thun or the hero until c'thun or the minion(s) taken is killed/silenced. 2/16 stats and unable to be targeted by hero powers.
Thats an amazing card, I love the effect and the way it works. Very original and true to the lore of AQ and Yogg. I wouldn't change a thing, it seem really balanced and in a very sweet spot just where it's at.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T. E. Lawrence
You stop taking 1 damage...? Or it just starts to really stack up.

If I hade made an old god card, I would probably have split it into multiple cards that you have to play in order to get some gamebreakingly good minion, but that would be really gimmicky. Therefore I like your concept better :P
Sort of similar to a concept I came up with. The card I made was a Saronite Champion (4 mana 2/5) which would put Maddening Whispers into your opponent's hand. They would deal damage when played (and draw a card) but if you didn't play them they'd duplicate and fill your hand.

"I myself am not too hopeful about the Grim Patron deck" - Trump 2015
"(Secret Paladin) didn't work out and I don't think Mysterious Challenger will change that." - Trump 2015
"(Darkshire Councilman) takes a bit too long to get set up...bad" - Trump 2016
very nice concept. at first i thought it was too weak, but the more i thought about it, i realized its really at a perfect spot. i also love the art of the cards. also the amount of text and the wording are perfect. they just look very real and beautiful. i would love to try this out in a mill deck :D
the only thing that bothers me a bit is that i always imagined c'thun being a 10 mana 10/14 (with "can't attack. at the end of your turn deal 2 damage to 3 random enemys" and a badass tentacle animation for the effect). it just feels kinda wrong that c'thun is a 2/8 for 6 mana...

Not bad, very original idea like the concept

I'd probably buff it to a 3/7 so that it has fewer vulnerabilities. But other than that seems like a pretty balanced effect.

It has a ton of health, stifles your opponent's mana base, has mill synergy. Yeah, I like this design a lot.
And it's pretty clever to force the opponent to spend 2 mana to get rid of the itch...
"Everyone! Get in here!"
Dude, I love it. Fits C'thun very well.

would be cool if the sounds from the game played when you took damage.
Card idea for the old god y'shaarj who cursed pandaria.
