It must have or give total stats of more than 5, non-inclusive. (River Crocolisk does not work, for example.)
The original examples of this are the only two grandmother cards in Hearthstone: Kindly Grandmother and Grandmummy. After much thought, we realized that both these cards are over-statted. Kindly Grandmother is a 1/1, then a 3/2, for a total of 7 stats. Grandmummy is a 1/2, then a 1/1, but also gives out +2/+2 in buffs for a total of 9 stats.
If you use grandmother or art with older women in it, bonus points!
We have calculated the 8 entries with the highest scores!! Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
If it is possible, I would like to ask organizers of WCT to clarify one thing - this is second WCD where it is mentioned that participants who make some kind of extra effort will receive bonus points.
For this WCD 10.5, the theme was grandmothers, and it is said that anyone who uses grandmother or art with older women will receive bonus points. I see from this finale that some entries did not make this extra effort. On the other hand - there were some submissions (including mine, mind you :)) that used grandmother or related art, and didn't qualify for the finale. So I just want to understand - what kind of bonus points are we talking about? Who gives them? :)

Right-o, I believe in transparency so:
For now we're only saying bonus points as a bit of a joke. It's more of a creative guidelines/thematic challenge. Zanywoop and I have discussed of adding 1 vote point to any entry which uses a grandmother art (or indeed, any theme that was the bonus challenge that week).
At the same time, I pointed out that adding a theme restriction creates a bigger chance of people using a poor choice of art. The mod team is still trying to decide how to go forward here. The best way is to get input from the contestants but most people do not use the fan creations discord channel so I can only hope people see this reply and weigh in.

I may or may not have automatically voted for every Grandmother, purely because many of them gave quite creative explanations to why the bonus stats were a logical choice. Best card imo is the banana.
Vazu'jin by TheArcanist236 - Efect of this card is very interesting, but draw card which cost 10 mana for oponent is not bad efect, but actualy good efect (except situations, where enemy draw elemenental giant). So this body is little bit overstated. I think it was restristions of competition, but still...
Lunk the Pacifist by reilgun - Uh, efect of this card is crazy, it's like freeze random enemy minion every turn, but better, as it probably can't be silenced. I feel like this card should cost more and come with heavier body. But is just very uncertain feel, becose i can't even trully imagine how strong or weak this card would be.
Crimson Cloak by Phoenix - For this card cost of 3 mana would be definitely more fitting. (But rulles was uncompromising.) But as there really isn't really so many way, how on curve deal with 3/3 which you give to oponent, there really isn't some big issue with this card to come turn earlier. As against aggro this card would probably be one of the worst cards in deck.
Forest Wanderer by Nokturan - Did you stole this card from Blizzard? It looks basicaly like one of cards, which would perfectly fit in game. (voted)
Pharaoh Imp by Soulbattle - Terribly overpowered stats. Efect is interesting, but this stats just make from this card trash tier.
Lady Deathwhisper by YoThats - Nice joke. Would you really want to play against this card on board? I thought Pharaoh Imp was really bad, but this one beat it to another level.
Blindzerker by Happy115 - Uh can attack, but can't deal deal dmg? What's the point? Why don't give it can't attack? Nope, give it Windfury instead. I really like this card and i think it would even posibly be inclusion in silence priest, as it can be used to test secrets, so it have some advantage against Ancient Watcher. Anyway i really like the originality in this card. (voted - for me top)
I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought Vazu'jin was over-powered.
As for Pharoah Imp, I actually suggested the creator to bump up the stats (was originally 3/4) though I did not give my input on what I thought the stats should be. My reasoning was that Neferset Thrasher was way better than a 3/4 Pharoah Imp since you only took 3 damage each time, and you weren't punished for playing other cards. If anything, you can compare this to Unlicensed Apothecary and balance a 2 mana version of that.
For my Vazu’jin: Gnomeferatu removes the card completely and has vanilla stats (2/3). This has the niche of locking the card, but this will only matter for several decks and for several decks the additional draw will be an advantage, for examle decks that throw a single card a turn in the lategame without looking at the Cost. I think this is worth the additional stat on Vazu’jin.

The problem here is that Rogue can abuse this a lot better than Warlock can. Shadowstep, Daring Escape, Spirit of the Shark, etc. I'm also not too sure that many decks "throw a single card in for the late game" without thought, either. And you say "single", therefore, there is a very low chance of it getting set to (10), and a much higher chance of a low-costing card getting locked.
I won't delve into this too much, you won the contest after all, so others enjoyed your creation more than I did. Congratulations on your win all the same.

By throwing a single card I meant playing 1 card each turn, like Warrior: OK, cleared with Brawl, Hero Power and chill.

Thanks for your feedback on this. Adding 1 vote from your side is not a bad idea. I was also hoping maybe other people who vote for the cards take the bonus challenge in consideration when giving their votes.

Wished to be pink.

Sorry. I fell asleep.
Wished to be pink.

Thanks, once again, for bringing me here. Good luck, everyone.
Lady Deathwhisper is straight up broken. Blindzerker makes no sense for anything besides Blessing of Wisdom
