The best way I know of to be informed is to follow all of the fan creations mods (you can find the full list by going to the Forums tab and scrolling down to Fan Creations). This will have the side effect of you getting lots of notifications because the mods are making posts all the time. Also, the WCDC threads are a little weird because I believe the mods create them as like private mod-only threads several hours ahead of time then just make them public when it's time.

Yes, it's up, although this week's thread is closed. We occasionally forget to put the link in the Discussion thread, but you can always find the twin threads pinned at the top of the Fan Creations forum while they're up.

The best way to keep abreast of the WCDC competition goings-on is to be mindful of the unchanging schedule:

Discussion opens on Wednesday, immediately after the previous week's Final Poll ends.

Submissions open roughly 24 hours later on Thursday.

Submissions close on Monday, but up-voting continues for another day.

Scores are checked, and the Final Poll opens on Tuesday.

The Final Poll ends on Wednesday, and the winner is revealed.
