Cool card but useless. Loved the concept but I mean it could be 2 mana with add this card to your hand(at end of turn) when cast and change a card to be the leftmost. The way it is now it would always be the 3rd or 4th card discarted
It's a cool idea but it would lead to maybe something like that you get yourLord Jarraxus, Kazakus or other important card in your oppening hand, or even draw them latter. Then it will probably stop the discard until you play that card.
If I draw Lord Jaraxxus in my opening hand, then I would be happy to discard him to get my Silverware Golem to the left. Thinking of turn 9 is not a good plan. But I might not play discard card until I play Kazakus though.

This is a really cool concept that if you play around with the card text for awhile, could lead to a very good design. Otovent has a very good point and one that popped into my mind instantly, if you mulligan poorly or draw a highly situational, high cost and important card(s) then you have no chance of discarding since you would lose your most important cards and be forced to wait until you can use them, but then again the whole design of Discard is high-risk high-reward so perhaps that that kind of risk is still fitting.
Nonetheless a really cool design, I suggest playing around with the concept!
Discarding the rightmost cards instead of leftmost solves the problem of not wanting to discard important cards. But I think having a slight downside is fine for an upside. Also, in the "rightmost" version, getting silverware golems to the right would be difficult and the Hero Power would have negative synergy with this card.
Moreover, the cards that are bad for a particular matchup or very expensive cards tend to naturally accumulate on the left, so discarding them generally shouldn't hurt much.

but it's a spell and its effect resolves only then, when it's played
so even if you have a very strong minion on your left side and you don't want to discard it, you can always gamble and try to discard something else (by not casting the spell)
and it will be like you said:

This makes the DIscard Mechanic controllable and is also good for the competitive scene because of the element of mindgame it introduces.
Sorry for the not so relevant card art on Card Set-Up. If you find a more suitable card art then please link it here.
