Not a very intriguing card. Overcosted and there is literally no clarification on what Discover does yet so it's kind of hard to evaluate.
^THIS!
I dont get it how all of you can put value on Jeweled Scarab while you dont know the whole picture of what card will do with this Discover...
Discover: Choose 1 of 3 cards randomly selected from the whole "legal" card pool. In that case you had to choose 1 from 3 cards randomly selected from all cards of your cards or neutrals with a cost of 3.
Also seems to heavily imply that the cards you Discover won't be from your own deck, so this card may or not be good depending on the RNG similar to Unstable Portal but without the cost reduction that makes it viable.
If you can chose one from 3 cards than I guess it's not completely useless. Even if it's RNG at least you can usually count on getting at least one decent card most of the time...
This card opens up a lot of new ways to build your deck.
It works so it can be used to curve out a bad mana curve, a soft-mulligan.
It can be built to draw answers you deliberate design the deck to draw each time you play something with Discovery.
With those new options, it opens a new chapter of tactical decisions and brings more skill to the game.
I absolutely love it and this type of mechanic feels long overdue IF it works the way i believe it does(draw card only from your deck). Otherwise it can be a really odd addition since there are A LOT of strong 3 mana class cards out there.

Its a massive buff to control decks in general.
Priest, Warrior and especially Mage are all decks I can see abusing this card... Hunter also has phenomenal 3 mana cards and its a beast so midrange or even control oriented hunters may play this card as well.
That is if, I've understood the card right and that it actually pulls cards from your deck and not i.e a random 3 mana cost card from the whole collection. Which could result in game braking combos xD.

Did you read the mechanic? It takes any legal card in the game. So any of your class cards and any neutral.
It's ridiculously strong in my opinion in mage which is the king of situationally broken cards. Cards like BGH also will be given "randomly" to classes who normally dont play it.
It's a big deal, much better than Novice Engineer.
1. you choose from 3 3 cost cards, which means you'll have a play for the next turn guaranteed.
2. It adds the card from outside the game, so you can gets a 3rd copy of a card in your deck, or get a card that is situationally stronger than anything you could've drawn.
3. Since it doesn't draw from the deck, it's card draw that doesn't bite you in a fatigue game.
I'm not sure this is much better than just playing Novice Engineer, but I guess its got that crazy RNG that makes people go nuts. Trollden get your highlight wheel ready.

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Why would I want to pick a random card rather than just putting the one I want? Too weak stats, possibly a worse Webspinner.
It guarantees you can play on curve, even if you get a really crappy mulligan. And since you get to pick out of three 3-drops, the chances you get at least one half decent card to pick is reasonably good.
If this card was a 2/2, it would be an insanely good card. As a 1/1, I'm not sure if it's worth having the guaranteed 3-drop given the 2-drop body is so poor.

In my opinion its a really creative and sometimes a really good card. Cool
"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!

Yes exactly.

I really hope it's only from your deck.

No random cards in my opinion

Yes, but the description of the rule changed for the second time now in a short time span.
So I'll just keep to the first explanation and wait for the official explanation.

So basically a Shredder nerf.
this is a control card.
advantages over novice engineer:
1. you choose from 3 3 cost cards, which means you'll have a play for the next turn guaranteed.

I realy love this card:
* Help to play on curve (Turn 2 -> Turn 3)
*Shredder nerf
*Sinergy with Brann Bronzebeard(double "draw")
*Dont increase fatigue
oh my god, its a 2 drop spellslinger!
and its a beast!!!!
If you build your deck correctly (good curve), Novice Engineer > this anytime.
Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
