So far played I say this card is almost broken. This is just so versatile! Almsot always gave me a decent/good/matchwinning choice. At worst you get like a 3/3 for 3 which is still fair. Especially in control vs control not actually drawing the card is value.
I completely agree with the above post. Incredibly strong card, so much versatility among the cards you can discover. 3 drops for each class are awesome.
Its so good on shaman(so powerfull spells and beter than HP, get Healing Wave twice vs a hunter its soo good), in rogue(get at last 5 Van Clef and SI 7) and priest.
Agree with the above posters and came here specifically to post about how it may as well be a shaman card it is so good.
I have pulled Hex, Lightning Storm, Healing Wave and even a Tuscar Totemic in my spammie Totem/Murloc deck, all at the right time, just when I needed them. Clearly the cards are weighted toward your class cards, as it is rare I get zero class cards as choices.
While a 1/1 for two is just not good, I think people underestimate the ability to:
1. Choose your turn 3 card when this is played on turn 2 (not optimal, I prefer to play a different card on turn 2 lol)
2. Save the card for when you need an answer. Shaman 3 drops are pretty amazing. Even Feral Spirits if you are in trouble and need to stall
3. Save the card for when you want to add another card to your turn's play later in the game. Aka I just baited out the flamestrike and have a hand ready to dump onto the board and want to add one more.
4. Choose a card and at the same time use scarab as a cheap proc for Rumbling Elemental.
Perhaps there are other classes that can use this, but seriously, this thing is powerful in Shaman. And funny enough, the 1/1 is frequently ignored so you can rock biter or flamtetongue it next turn to trade up.
Is there any other deck besides shaman that this can fit in? I want to try it, but at the same time I do't like shaman nor want to play a sub par deck that isn't gimmicky just to try one card. (If that makes any sense)

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
i been running it in cw, random bash, weapon, or shield block is cool, also sometimes give me a decent enough 3 drop as my early drop when acolyte of pain wont do.
Is a great card. on curve not only gives you a next turn card. It also gives you a free resource, lets you adapt better the meta aganish the other deck ( optimal as big game aganish handlock, healing wave aganish agrro, etc...) I see it great potential in freeze mage and in Shaman. Also want to know the sinergie with Broncebeard, it could help thedraw card problem of Shaman
Having tested this card all day today in midrange hunter, this card is amazing. Having an adaptable 3 drop is super valuable to have as the game progresses since 3 drops tend to have a lot of weight. In classes like Hunter, Shaman, and Paladin, I find that the card holds the most weight due to the more insane 3 class drops. For Hunter, it's like being able to run 2 super efficient webspinners in a deck. Heck, when the next wing comes out, if tomb spider ends up being anywhere close to as good, it'll be like running 4. Fantastic card.
havent tried it, but it looks pretty good if you dont have many 3 drops, you can compare this to hero powering turn 2 as paladin, but you are guaranteed to play on curve next turn.
I have gotten Aldor in Paladin so many times and the Sisters pop up quite a bit.
And ya, in mage there is quite a bit to choose from. It is rare that I get all trash.
If I get a shaman only quest I will give it a shot based on adivce here... it does seem useful in shaman. I mean, you can always rockbitter it and trade it out if it lives one turn.
Shaman has the best 3 mana cards, Priest 2nd, Paladin 3rd...In certain deck types Paladin is 2nd...Any other class this card probably ain't worth running.
It pretty reliably grabs a kill command and then enables the 5. That also gets around the deck restriction of only 2.
Its nice in shaman and all, but getting 3rd killcommand 3rd animal companion or an unleash against some aggro deck... i think its best in hunter! Maybe cut one haunted creeper for that guy? If you manage to get a decent spell i think it represents much more damage than haunted creeper on average!
Put it in grinder mage, I got two Forgotten Torch, a Mirror Entity and a Spellbender (in a single match, of course!!). Expected it to be good, but this was absolutely wonderful!
I've gotten some really bad choices in Discover. But I've also gotten some clutch cards...like tinkmaster against a handlock..wish I could see my.opponents face when I turned my 1/1 scarab intona 5/5 lol. Bet he wishes he had mortal coil!
