I was talking about mana efficiency. But if you wanna add more parameters, lets take into consideration that you can use your power once per turn for 2:2 but you can use both spells for 2:10. The 500% efficiency is still evident.
500% the efficiency of the hero power... Seems legit.
This is not quite true. I get that it's 2.5 times as strong, and costs half the mana, so you'd think it's 500%. But hero power doesn't cost a card, so for this to be 500%, it would have to cycle itself as well, or draw a card. And if we give "draw a card" a default value of 1 (non class cards that draw a card are usually about 1 mana more expensive compared to vanilla cards of same stats), then we can say that it's 250% the efficiency of the hero power.
While you are thinking too hard about draws, try to add a Northshire Cleric or two into the equation.
Nothing to do with it. You can also use hero power twice given a certain parameter is met. If Northshire cleric is in the equation she will draw for either hero power or for flash heal. So it still stays at around 250% efficiency of hero power.
With more cards like Light of the Naaru, Flash Heal, and Circle of Healing, that become so incredible when switched to damage, It almost seems like Priest needs another healing->damage converting card like Soulpriest. Maybe the new Priest legendary will deliver.
The beauty of the card is, comparted to Mind Blast, how flexible it is. The real problem of priest is how its class card are usable only in very specific sutiations, but useless in other ones (i.e. SW:Pain and Death).
as a trade tool to heal back big minions (blademaster, boom...)
as a removal with auchenai
as a finnisher with auchenai
All with a really cheap cost.
Priest needs flexibility. The entire class suffers from really specific cards, or "combo"-dependant mecanics (blademaster+circle auchai+circle, shrinkmeister+sw:p...) to have a significant impact in the game, when other classes like warlock can drop a 4/8+ vanilla Twilight Drake without any additional requirement.
Excellently well said, and the card will certainly be included in many Priest decks. I'm pretty excited to see the rest of the Priest cards hold.
Do Paladins seriously spend 1 mana more for 1 more health
Are people gonna repeat this forever? Priest is the healing while Mage is the spellcasting class, which is why you have some better cards filling the same role from one class to another (Frostbolt vs Darkbomb, Flash Heal vs Holy Light...), and it's true for some other classes. Priests can't summon 1/1 dudes forever, Warriors have better armor mechanisms than Mages, etc...
And this is how they balance the game, or else Warlocks would be weaker than Mages and Paladins would be weaker than Priests... which is not the case.
It's OP that the class with the biggest emphasis on healing (Priest) has a more efficient healing spell than other classes?
Oh, but it's OK that the class with the biggest emphasis on spell damage (Mage) has more efficient damaging spells than other classes?
They already have the most efficient healing spells. This spell is only really going to be used as a 5 damage nuke with soulpriestess. It's like giving mages frostfire bolt which adds more face damage over another board control spell.
Nice to see that priests got a healcard. Felt really dissapointing when pallis healed out priests sometime. And it's also fine with auchenai. Really excited about that card tho:)

And what about after a emp turn? Drop auchenai, two chows, circle and use two flash heals. 20 damage no big deal.
Or lets just assume a more realistic situation. You have an auchenai on board, your druid opponent innervates out boom, flash heal + ping kills boom.

"This is so much better than Healing Touch and Holy Light, QQ!"

10 mana combo
1 Emperor Thaurissan trigger, Prophet Velen, Auchenai Soulpriest, double Flash Heal, Mind Blast = 30 dmg
Don't worry guys he's got your back

...
10 mana combo
1 Resurrect and bring back Malygos, play Prophet Velen with 1 Emperor Thaurissan trigger, double Mind Blast = 40 dmg
9 mana combo
with 2 Emperor Thaurissan triggers, 2 Resurrects and bring back double Prophet Velen, play Malygos, play Auchenai Soulpriest double Flash Heal, double Mind Blast = 160 dmg
Don't worry guys he's got your back
but he dies on the second flash heal!
What about he first did a 5 Armorsmiths (somehow with Lorewalker Cho and Mind Vision), Commanding Shout and Bouncing Blade first?
100 health + original 30 = 130 health --> dies after last Mind blast.
Don't worry guys he's got your back
not if you do it on one single turn.
