Gazlowe Achenai tempo buff priest? Priest now has a lot of useable 1 cost spells and these one cost spells can target minions and mechs give spare parts that further buff Eydis and Fjola. Might be a pipe dream (ok I'm pretty sure it's a pipe dream), but I kind of want to make this deck happen.
I said in another post a while go that Prophet was by far the least played class Legend and they need to fix that because he could be really good. I think this card with a few others in TGT are going to make Prophet much more viable. For 10 mana you can heal for 14 with hero power and this. And if you start considering the combination possibilities with soulpriest, it becomes insane.

The more I have time to think about this card, the more I like it. Unlike most priest cards, it's not very situational, but it can still provide a ton of combo potential with things like Eydis and Fjola as well as Achenai, Deathlord, Light Warden, Holy Champion, Shadow Boxer, etc. Honestly, this is the kind of card priests need not that silly Confuse card.
TGT is definitely powercreeping. This over holy light and the druids tangling roots over arcane shot and holy smite. I guess its ok?
While it may seem like power creep, they're really just balancing the game to make underplayed classes more competitive. It isn't strictly better than holy light, and class cards are known to be balanced based on their respective class more, rather than cards from other classes.
The problem with Priest combo is that it has always been a gimmick deck because Mind Blast is such a useless card outside of such a deck. This is basically a Mind Blast that can be used in a more standard control deck. Against Aggro, the heal is nice and it activates Wild Pyromancer easily. Against Control, the bursty reach will be a real difference maker.

As if anyone plays Vol'Jin, Flame Leviathan, neither of Druid legendarys (or actually Druid at all) or Al'Akir or Neptulon...
Seen plenty of decks with Vol'jin, a few with levy, TONS with Cernarious, tons with Al'Akir as a finisher and a few with neptulon as a threat. These cards were even more common before some of the expansions, but Krush and Gahz'Rilla have almost never seen any serious play since they were included.
its really good if used with soul priest, underwhelming using it just for healing though. turn 5 play a 3/5 body and deal 5 damage to anything is really powerful.
If you would use it only to heal yourself then Light of Naaru is better. But with Auchenai this card has so much offensive potential that's insane. Double Auchenai+Circle+Blademaster old school decks will come back even stronger with this card. Like it!
Part of why I love this card is it can easily played with Light of the Naaru.
who the fuck cares if its "powercreep"? first of all its in different classes and your precious druid/paladin heal sees almost zero play and i dont think noone can argue against priest should be heal class no1. some cards unfortunately just sucks, thats because blizzard doesnt buff cards and they where valued wrong at the games releas. and if newly released cards should have the same power level as those unplayed cards the new ones would never see play at all too, therefore i have no problems buffing up the powerlevel of certain types of cards, like heal e.g.
Thank you. It drives me crazy when people whine about power creep. Like people want Hearthstone to be all Yetis and Spider Tanks and War Golems

It might be worth noting priest is already incredibly good against certain decks. And bad against others.
Right now, the meta is centered around the decks priest is really bad against, so the class isn't weak... It's just countered by the meta.

Wait what??? Firstly there is a good number of Druids. Cenarius shows up in most ramp druid decks as well. Priests are more of a rarity by far and two of the four decks that show up there pretty much always run Vol'Jin. Flame Leviathan is the least played of the cards you have listed. Al'Akir shows up in most variants of shaman that isn't mech shaman. Neptulon is only slightly above Flame Leviathan but he does see some play.
So now a Priest can burst you for 20 damage in a single turn. [Soulpriest+Mind Blast + Mind Blast + Flash Heal+Flash Heal]
Also this is SO much better than Holy Light and Healing Touch. 5 healing for 1 mana makes 2/6 and 3/8 look like complete jokes.
This should also help Priests survive into later game if they are playing control.

Wow terrific for a Common Rarity card!
This seems way too powerful (mainly because of the Auchenai synergy.) Dunno...guess we will all find out soon enough.

LOVE THIS CARD! OMG with Auchenai Soulpriest plus 2 Flash Heals and 2 Mind Blasts, 10 mana 20 damage!

Vol'jin and Cenarius see play and so if people actually played shaman the shaman legendaries would also

One more card towards the inevitable Prophet Velen OP status.

Will be used in competitive. Auchenai + this to kill a 5/5 like emperor thaurissan, shieldmaden or something is a strong play.

I love the card and will love even more if they add another healing interaction for priests besides Auchenai and Velen.
