The amount Alex is played it has defenetly been considered, and it will likely be in the hall of fame at some point. It will reqiure a new legendary with the same healing effect though, because that is very important is you dont want to game to become to aggresive
Tbh, i do like playing strong cards but i hate being on the receiving end.
One card shouldn't be able to swing a game from losing to winning in one turn. I don;t like winning like that myself.
In example.
Someone plays Egg Warrior, plays really good, put opponent on like 7 hp and BOOM Alex into Nozari and some other big dragon.. And don't come up with stuff like 'should have won faster' , 'played better' etc.
Alexstrasza will eventually get send to HoF. That however will not happen in a vacuum. And speaking of Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, that card should have never existed in my opinion.
I don't hate Dragonqueen Alex. as such, I hate the fact that you don't have to have started the game wtih only 1 of a kind. I don't see Alexstraza as a problem as such, I hate Malygos so much more (and of course Edwin).

Alex needs to go!
Alexstrasza is problematic as an offensive card, its defensive qualities are just fine.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.
A nine mana card should NOT put 20+ worth of mana on the board.
With regular Alex and with Maly you need a lot more cards to win the turn you play them. Often you don't even win that turn.
You must be joking, who ever won on the same turn Dragonqueen was played? About the only scenario that happens is when you were about to die and it gives you the full-health restore dragon. It just fills your board, and yes... a 9-mana card that requires you to build your entire deck around it sacrificing consistency and do not even win you the game on the spot, should definitely put down 20+ mana of value and swing games
She's about one of the less OP and oppressive cards in the meta right now, not to mention is one of the few RNG cards that doesn't feel like a complete diceroll... she's gonna rotate in one year, deal with it.
I'm talking about regular Alex from Classic set obvi. You can't HOF Dragonqueen Alex.
The card is bonkers in Warlock and Mage right now, IMO. IF you have an established board that the opponent cant get rid of, they will just play Alex next turn and do 15 damage. It's not hard with Galakrond giving Warlock 4 demons and a 5 attack weapon. Especially, if it gives you some dormant minions you cant interact with. In Mage, you need to stick a few minions and then just play burn spells. It's just unfair to go from 30 to 0 in a matter of two turns. I could see yeah if that happens when they have four 8/8s or something I get it. That happens. But when they just have two 5/5s and a weapon/burn spell its bullshit. Just too easy of a win condition that is extremely hard to play around.
I think Classic needs rotation, more than HoFing cards (I'm sure I'm not the first to say that).
MtG always refreshed cards of the 'core' set - if here they switched some of each rarity it'd be better than just HoFing cards. They can do it between 2nd and 3rd expansions of a year, so more dust, more original decks, etc. rather than stick to old fashioned game, renew it (pun unintended).
Soooo Alexstrasza needs to go but this (see below) is fine??
I just lost to Dragonqueen Alexstrasza into double Kalecgos into Power of Creation. Before that the mage was losing bad. Stuff like this shouldn't be happening. And more often then not stuff like this happens.

Mage as a class being a ridiculous RNG-fest isn't fine, but Dragonqueen on its own is. Dragonqueen RNG variance isn't that big, most of the times you can expect a couple of midsized dragons with decent effects and that's it. Sure sometimes it gives you the nuts, but those super high rolls aren't as common as you're implying, and you're still paying NINE mana and having the no duplicates restriction which is a huge deal. Not to mentions there are low rolls among the dragons too.
Stupid shit like Puzzle box of Yogg, THAT's a BS rng card that I can't wait for it to rotate. Alex is absolutely ok on its own especially if you evaluate the card on its own without the entire Mage rng package.

Anyone else tired of losing to this card over and over again going from 30 life to zero?
OP in Mage, Druid, and Warlock decks right now if you ask me.
Totally needs to go away.

When the dragon expansion rotates, she will go back to trashcan dont worry
Normally I try to avoid pushing Blizz to HoF cards but I think I have to agree with you. Overplayed. Ysera doesnt even exist anymore! =[

Half of you talk about Alexstrasza and the other half about Dragonqueen Alexstrasza ...

lol send every card which u can't handle at the moment to hall of fame.
A nine mana legendary dragon can win games - hardly a shock.
