This is not a bad idea actually, you can put some Ancient Watchers or even Dancing Swords in a deck like this. I think this card is great, 6/6 + stealth means it will smash something for sure, I would pick him anytime over Stranglethorn Tiger.
I want a deck where Wailing Soul is a viable card. I'll throw in Venture Co Mercenary as a card that would be better silenced.
I dont think its a good idea, since Wailing soul costs 7 if you have a Venture Co. in the board, making it essentially a 8 mana 7/6.
If it was a random minion I would've called this card garbage but with the ability still hitting an enemy the card isn't horrible. The body is nice and stealth protects him from SW:D at least till he attacks.

Love this card, though someone mentioned that it could possibly go through taunts.... I would probably disagree as it will choose from valid targets and the only valid attack target will be those with taunt. If there is only 1 taunt then it will be forced. This card is actually pretty good and is akin to Rag in a way. People who say its garbage will see its power against them in time!
The wrong enemy thing means it can bypass taunts and hit face. This same upside/downside applies to the Dunemaul Shamman, making them quite aggressive cards.

It can go past taunts or hit stealth. This has been confirmed.

You don't need to disagree as there is nothing to disagree about. All this ogre cards with this "50% wrong target" ability can hit through taunts or even minions with stelth. It was confirmed since BlizzCon and Ogre Warmaul Warrior Weapon.

I was disagreeing with someone who said it could pass through taunts. I merely forgot to quote that person. Thank you for your insight sir.
I'm going to be honest. If this "50% chance" mechanic is to become evergreen, I'm worried about the future of the game.
That aside, this card is stupidly powerful if you can set up the right board state. Amazing stats and an upside with a small controllable drawback is pretty nice. Most likely too slow for constructed though.

Well, Ragnaros and Sylvanas are both have a random factor. However, this does not make them bad cards.
This card will be fun to play with. The text doesn't read, attack a random minion, it says 50% chance to attack the wrong enemy. That means if your looking to get through one last taunt, it could go directly to your opponents face to finish them off.
The other difference is that it has a 50% chance to hit your intended target first. So if your opponent has 3 minions on their board, you have a 62.5% chance to hit your initial target, and 12.5% to hit the each of the other two minions or your opponents face.
I do not understand your calculation. With 3 minion on board and you aim to hit one of them, you should have a 50% chance to hit the target you wanted to hit and 50% / 3 (the two other minions and the hero) to hit the wrong target, so around 16,67% for anything else.
Why so much hate for this card? I love this card and I think it has a lot of potential in rogue. Cuz generally rogues tend to keep the board clear with cheap spells, so you can actually bypass the rng aspect of the card and hit face every time.

I didn't mean it in power level terms. I meant in terms of complexity and long term health of the game. Ragnaros is already an example of bad RNG where the outcome is very luck based. This new "50% chance" mechanic works on a similar vein and overall is not healthy nor fun most of the time. its just RNG for RNG's sake.

Perhaps people will feel better to play this card in constructed if it said "75% chance to hit"
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!

I love the artwork on this.
Feel free to add me if you play on NA! iMPose#1429

I think this will see some play. It is pretty beefy for its cost and since it has stealth it is guaranteed some damage.
Its better than a Stranglethorn Tiger thats for sure.
Just wonder if there is only one creature on the enemy's board, does he still attacks enemy's face in case that 50/50 proc fail?
P.S. Anyways ogre is too fat to be ninja. :)
It's not ogre till it's ogre.
A big beater that is inconsistent is the last thing rogue needed. Dumpster it.

Didn't mean to be rude, just wanted to sound conclusive :)
And typo in that quoted post, they CAN hit, not can't , lol :D

not if your opponent already has one out (and buffed!) and he hits you through stealth!
IMO, if it was 100% chance to hit the wrong enemy, it would be MUCH better
