I just opened an RoS pack, I almost opened a classic pack as well. Looked like a regular pack, but in the last slot, instead of the blue gloe, I get a golden glow.
So I brace myself to flip the card as usual and hope it's something I can use. I hear the announcer go nuts, which only means one thing.... It's a golden.
Lucentbark isn't a great value golden card, but maybe I can find a deck for him at least.
TBH I think that the deck will take a lot of investment if all I can do is Heal Druid, so I might break him down to help build something else. I could really do with Electra Stormsurge for my shaman decks.
thanks man. I think I might be better off just dusting as I don't normally keep golden cards. I only keep them when they produce more golden cards. Golden Blink Foxes and stuff like that.
I don't think that list is very optimal tbh. I think it's trying to do too much of many things instead of working towards one goal of getting out a lot of Lucentbarks. One sec, I'll get the decklist I'm running.
Keeper of the Grove is an experiment. It's a tech against mechs but with the flexibility of removing a minion when you don't have Swipe or Wrath available.
Elysiana is because it's pretty easy to go to fatigue in non aggro matchups, and against Warrior you just lose without it.
edit: In that other list, I don't even know why you'd run Stalladris but only one copy of Crystal Power and one copy of Wrath.
I think this is a card that has some potential, but I'm not convinced it has enough to justify keeping it longer than you're willing to hold it until there's a legendary that is meta-defining (like Zilliax) that you could dust it for.
Personally, I'd ditch it in favor of a card you're more interested in / has more potential. the design purposefully limits how many times you can bring Lucentbark back, and you only have so many cards that will heal for 5+. Not many of those cards play well with the meta, since we have a strong control vs aggro going on between warrior and rogue.

Man I did not know stupid is contagious and spreads. Dusting cards cause there is nothing for it right now. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
OK mate, are you really going to do this again? you should probably look up "straw man fallacy" because you do it a lot.
that's not what I said at all. I said it's a golden card for an archetype I probably won't play, and don't have the cards to build. it has nothing to do with the viability of the deck.
1600 dust or a golden legendary that will sit in my collection till it rotates out, doing nothing. I only posted as I wanted to know if there were any decks I hadn't seen yet. The heal druid looks cool and all, but I'm missing so many cards for it, that it would require a heavy investment to play it.
when I could have 1600 dust for things I actually want.
I’d keep it man. Two years of standard life and it could become more useful than it is now.
I have been holding onto it for a few days now. but I have a daft emeriss deck brewing in my mind, so I may trade it in.
the decks that use him require way too much investment from me. I need way too many cards for it that theres no way on earth I'm crafting.
yeah having a board full of golden tree-dudes would be cool, but just not realistic for me.
also I NEVER keep golden cards.
I have always said if I got a golden of something I wanted, I would keep it. but that never happens. if I get a golden of something I'm not that interested in, I just dust it to craft a card I want.
If it wasn't golden I'd definitely keep it, but 1600 dust to me right now is a bit too good to pas up on.

I would dust it if you are low on dust and need it for strong decks to build. Even if you recraft it later on you have lost nothing other then its not a shiny legendary otherwise its the same card. While waiting for it to become viable you can have fun with a strong legendary.
Might be another case for people who care about golden cards though.

yeah mate, this is my stance exactly. you don't loose anything from dusting a golden in terms of dust value. I don't really play with goldens anyway unless I happen to get one that generates more cards. Golden Rafaam would have been nice for example.

I find that hard to believe considering I mostly play weird homebrew decks and tier 4 :D

I played against a similar deck as Warrior recently. Since i didn't want my opponent to heal, i just didn't attack him and kept killing his stuff. Then he smartly used Alexstrasza on his own face to start using his healing cards. So i'd say that card can be quite interesting for this archetype. You can gain armor and still lower your own health to activate Lucentbark in the late game.

Well, i had 30 health and 20+ armor so i don't think he had any other options. This deck doesn't apply enough pressure against warriors.

given the improvements to the algorithm, this is 100% worth a shot. I never take advantage of this and I should.

Don't mind him. He's just angry his Mother left him at a bus stop, and never came back.
Not when they nerf the cards around it. For example Kingsbane when they nerfed leeching poison.
