I've always been the guy thats unlucky, I buy around 100packs + each expansion and very often I get my legendaries first at 35-40 packs. so normally at 100packs I get 3-4 legendaries. This expansion has alot of good epics and they are almost as rare as legendaries for me, maybe I get 1 in 15packs or more, and usually its the crappy ones. I lack so many cards this expansion and have hard time to make the decks I want to work. But ive always loved my golden cards but it seems like thats the only way for me to afford 400 dust cards.
I guess it depends on how much you value your golden cards. For me personally, I would much rather disenchant golden cards to get the cards I need for the deck I really want to play (unless the golden card goes into the deck). I did at one point had all golden freeze mage before and never disenchanted it until Ice lance was moved to the hall of fame.
I am in a similar situation, and I decided to keep my golden cards and play exodia mage until I get enough dust to craft the decks I want to play. I would suggest you to do the same because it sounds like you are low on dust and this is only the first week of the new expansion, a lot of cards you craft might not actually be as good as what you expected. It is better to save your dust and wait for the meta to settle down which is usually a month after the expansion
I disenchant each and every golden I ever get and would disenchant my basics to if it was possible. The dust is far more valuable than a dumb animation honestly.
Also agreed on the epics comment, at this point collecting epics is harder than collecting legendaries especially because they don't follow the same no duplicates rule. I pulled 6 "to my side" cards. SIX OF THEM but not a single reckless flurry, psychic scream, or any epic i might actually use

Should I disenchant them?
Just DE all golden except Rogue cards, over 10k dust. No regrets.
I love golden cards, but sadly I usually have to disenchant them to craft some important cards I'm missing. So yeah, I would do it if I were you.

If you have normal copies too then disenchant the golden ones..you don't actually lose anything and you get the cards you want!

but without golden cards im just a filthy casual :P

Go ahead.
You won't regret it, i can grant it.

I usually kept my golden cards, but the game is now just too expensive if you want a large collection to build your decks from.
Function over form. Disenchant golden cards that you don't treasure.
