I loved my first legendary pack. I was like 30 or 40 packs in, without any legend and then i've got both Cairn and golden Tirion in one pack. On Asia serwer I got my first legend in 3 packs... King Krush :P
My wife and I were both lucky enough to get Bloodmage Thalnos as our first Legendaries (excepting for the free Golden Legendary I got in beta).
I think Bloodmage Thalnos is a great legendary for beginners because you can play him often and he requires very little skill/decision making compared to other legendaries.
Her second was Leeroy Jenkins and mine was Millhouse Manastorm :/
Out of 6 Legendaries I've gotten Two "The Beasts" and one "Millhouse Manastorm". So basically I just got a lot of dust.
My first leg was Tirion Fordring - pretty happy about it and of course still using. Next was Miilhouse Manastorm - that was quite disappointing and was instantly de'd for a bunch of missing rates. Next was Lorewalker Cho - still with me but used mainly for fun. Then I created Leeroy Jenkins - not so long ago, just 3 days before news about nerd - also remains in team and frequently used. And that was followed by Baron Geddon andOnyxia also not so long ago.
Just to clarify - I haven't invested not a single real coin into this game, and open boosters mainly from arena runs. Since april I have opened nearly 140 packs and obtained only 5 so-so legs. Really missing those Sylvannas, Cairne and TBK.
Two my secondary accs received Alexstrasza and Sylvannas each in first opened pack.
in over 3000 games i have still never seen this card played once...
You're missing out, it's super epic! :D Best entrance animation in the game, by a mile.
I'm almost up to 500 ranked wins with my druid. When I get to 499 I'm going to put in the E.T.C., because it was the card that first inspired me to build my own version of Ramp Druid. Then I'm going to record my games until I get my 500th win with E.T.C. in play, and I'll put it on YouTube. :)

A golden Gruul.
Ysera from one of the first packs. Later I got 5-7 more from packs, still didn't craft a single legendary.

First legendary from a pack: Ysera, first crafted legendary: Leeroy Jenkins, which has now become Lord Jaraxxus.
First from a pack: Leeroy Jenkins back in May.
First crafted: Sylvanas Windrunner just the other day.
