Snake Trap already tends to catch a lot of people off guard. And a Poisonous 2/3 certainly represents a much greater threat than three 1/1s. Being able to trade up with your opponent's largest minion out of nowhere for 2 mana is a ridiculous tempo swing. Even if they do use a spell to remove it's still an even trade card-advantage wise. This card certainly seems to be one to watch out for, especially from sources capable of randomly generating it.
You know you can play a 2/3 cobra for 3 mana without having to trigger a secret, right?
True. Here though, you can play a 1 drop, this on two, and you could arguably end up with a 2/3 poisonous cobra (which can attack on turn 3) AND another three drop. In your scenario, you'd have to play the 2/3 cobra on 3, leaving your board either with a 2 drop/1 drop + cobra at BEST. With the secret on 2, you can go face to get in chip damage instead of trading on turn 2, and force your opponent to decide to trigger the trap or not. Overall, I think the secret gives MUCH bigger tempo swing than just playing a vanilla cobra.

Its also not as easy to clear with an AOE effect. Requires the opponent to use hard removal or give up a minion. I like it.
but it doesn't redirect the attack to the cobra...this mafes freezing trap a superior option for most of the time, it's not bad, you sacrifice power for flexibility, but that kind goes againg hunter's secrets premise were you basically give your opponent the option to decide when to activate them for a lot of undercosted extra power, like explosive trap being basically a 2 mana consecration

I like that it's a controlly card (cause I really want control hunter). My issue is that specifies when something attacks one of your minions. So unless you have taunt out it doesn't help that much or at all against aggro, which is where control hunter needs the most help. Aggro face face face lol at your secrets.
so this is not a card that is great, but it might be good enough for a one of in putricide deck, and is not bad to get off putricide. It kind of helps with secret mindgames too, because it activates when explosive doesn't and with freezing it is insane. It also encourages they make attacks before playing minions so they don't play a target for this, and that occasionally messes with some on play effects getting max value.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I actually like it. I think people are underating it a bit. In secret hunter works great imo as will be most of the time played for 0 mana. It might put oposing player into an ankward position. And 2/3 body with poison is quite big. It can't be killed by a 1/1 token or certain hero powers, so you will be forced to throw a certain kind of minion, spell or weapon with 3 attack to get rid of it.
The funny thing about secrets is, that theyre the nly cards that generate value even if you dont play them. Since enemy still needs to check and calculate with them.
Value wise, this is fine, if cobra would cost 2 every deck would run 2.
So now it still needs triggering, but has synergie with secret cards.
Fine card not overwhelming but at least a save 1 off in secret hunter i think.
Decent card, not an auto-include. Especially nice when generated randomly by "Professor 4". Will be played only in secret hunter. In my experience unexpected poisonous snakes are the worst kind of snakes.
Interesting tempo swing. Forces a bad trade from your opponent or at least some kind of guaranteed removal. Is it worth putting in a deck? Maybe not. But getting it off Professor Putricide would be fantastic.

It's playable for sure, can cost you a big minion if you're not carefully trading.
Ok, next one.
My magic will tear you apart!
Just one word: 5 star!

its not amazing, but certainly isn't bad either so definitely playable for sure.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

This card is pretty good, the strength is the same as Cat Trick in that it triggers after the opponent has started their turn.
Also anyone saying that Freeze is better in a meta with so many tokens, battlecrys and patches is confirmed terrible.
Better than Snake Trap IMO.

Sadly it never was but I hope it will be and control hunter I love DK Rexxar he will be fun
Good Arena card. Don't see it as game breaking, but it is sure an interesting 1.

A Meh card to add to a deck, but a good outcome if you get it from Professor Putricide. A step forward to Secret Hunter.
ugh, another annoying hunter secret I'll have to play around
