I just had a mage mirror game where my opponent put up a secret, and because it was early in the game I figured it was probably either Counterspell or Mirror Entity. After much deliberation I decided to my play my own Counterspell (that I'd hoped to save for killing his/her 2nd Ice Block), and his/her secret popped, as it was indeed Counterspell. Which brings me to the philosophical question:
Well technically he counterspelled your counterspell, but after a bit of thought,...hm...if you had been the one with the counterspell, and secrets could activate on their owners' turn, then the same result would have been achieved - both counterspells being taken out of the game.
jk lul he countered yours. still interesting to think about for a minute tho, if you ignore the technicalities of the game
It goes both way, he countered your Counterspell, on the other hand you also countered his Counterspell with minimum cost. IMO if you play any spell that cost 3 mana or less that countered a Counterspell is considered as a counter.
Only if you followed up with Mirror Entity as soon as the Counterspell popped. Then it is all backwards compared to another famous card game, but with the same result.
Good question, I'll say yes. Her secret had no effect other than nullifying your spell, but the secret went off which was the desired effect of your spell anyway.
Hey Folks:

Which brings me to the philosophical question:
Did I Counterspell his/her Counterspell?

P.S. In the interest of total disclosure, yes, I was really baked when I posted l this :) Cheers

Your spell cast was cancelled. Seems pretty open and shut to me.
No.
He literally Counterspell'd your Counterspell.......
Literally......
.................
Counterspell is a secret. Normal secrets only work in enemy's turn, so he countered your spell and your secret doesnt work as was your turn.

I'd say you countered eachother's counterspell, there is no conflict between the two statements.
