Hey folks. In a spectate pack I got a gold Tink Master Overspark.
Should I dust or pop him in a Midrange hunter deck. On turn 3 with a controlled board he has the potential to win you the game. At worst he could turn a 1/1 token into another 1/1 beast token. Against taunt warrior even if he turns a portion of their wall into a 5/5 dino it means I can still sneak damage in…or he's potentially a steaming pile of dog shit and I'm better off with the free dust.
I have all the top tier legendaries from the set except Lyra, Elise, Quest warrior or Quest Rogue. If I had to trade Tink out what legendary would you craft?
On a side note. I don't have any preps or brawls so if I went quest I would have to invest in both of those as well.
Thanks jabronis' any feedback would be appreciated.
#Feelsbad if you end up dusting it, but it wouldn't be completely unreasonable.
Keep in mind it's better not to dust it unless you have something to do with the dust. A.k.a. don't go dusting it to craft warrior quest if you can't craft brawls.
I've been holding one for about a year now and though it doesn't see any play anymore I slotted him in Control Warrior to pretty good effect. He's just waiting for a slower meta (even just slightly slower) to strike so if you don't desperately need the dust I'd keep him.
I'd say dust it and craft a legendary from your favourite class. I used to save my golden legendary cards, but it will literally just sit there for years with no use whatsoever other than it being part of a 'collection'
It is a fun and sometimes competitive legendary, and also it gives back golden cards. If you are not in dire need for another legendary I will certainly keep.

The more this game progresses, the more better cards will appear, this card was never really good and it wont be.
Know your lore! This was used a lot as a (retarded) removal/silence option when pre-nerf, when you could target the battlecry.
When enough competetive games were decided on a stupid 50/50 roll, Blizzard rightfully hit him with the nerfbat, and he has stayes in the shaddows ever since.
DE him when you really need to craft something like those quests. If not, just have him sit there. He does see some play in troll token decks.

Even post nerf he saw some high level play as a c'thun counter. I think the issue was more that he basically gave all classes access to a neutral polymorph.

It was probably a factor, but the main outrage was the massive tempo difference between turning an enemy cairne or sylvanas into a 1-1 and a 5-5. Same reason Nat Paegle was nerfed. Him drawing or not in the first turn was simply too deciding for the outcome.
I think the best advice is to extensively try it in the way you mentioned, especially with Hunter.
If that proves utterly unreliable or extremely situational, just ditch it.
Overall, you should also consider what classes you really like and which ones you don't care about. Eg. Lyra is great, but if you don't like Priest, it's a wasted legendary. Same for Quests etc.

Dude hold that. Golden squirrel swag.

It was a good card for control warrior, especially in C'Thun meta. I would not DE him. Maybe in future it will be a good card.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.

I am still holding onto a golden Genzo, the Shark and I will hold onto him as long as I reasonably can :)
At least I saw RDU playing him in Token Druid in open tornaments the other day :)

I'd keep him unless you desperately need dust.
Ultimate Tirion counter.
Playing Hearthstone in German solely for Garrosh sounds. Sieg oder Tod!
