The card is fun! Not competitive. i do recommend a gadgetzan Auctioneer in a Renounce deck (Yes, it works wonders). Also, don't play the card immediately. Spend your first two turns tapping, then convert a full hand into random cards. Otherwise you run out of cards quickly!
Was just playing a game or 20 with a renounce deck, to no surprise i beat a quest druid with it, but other then that the only reward was a truckload of inconsistent fun.
My version was a bit too memy perhaps, i included a Lorewalker Cho but it only increased the amount of fun.
Wouldn't recommand it if you're all about climbing the ladder, although i did get an Upgrade! once...
Unlike Warrior's new Explore Un'Goro which replaces everything not in your hand, Renounce Darkness only replaces Warlock cards, so you can plan ahead and put in a shell of neutral cards.
s already mentioned, because Renounce discounts all the cards by 1 mana, Gadgetzan Auctioneer is a really good choice if you end up with a lot of cheap discounted spells.
One of my favorite cards. It's my go to deck for about a dozen matches after reaching 15 / 10 / 5 each month. About a 30% win rate, but sooooo much fun it's worth the losses. I cram about 15 high value neutrals, including Shifter Zerus, Prince Malchezaar and new Elise for extra craziness, and the rest miscellaneous class cards. Do recommend.

I found it good with Doomsayer and Corrupting Mist. Instead Barnes - Yshar combo i run sense demons - voidcaller - Mal'ganis combo, works much more often.
I played it when WOTOG came out last year, it was one of the most fun archetypes to play but was rather inconsistent. Play it for fun, and you will almost always have a fun game! Haha I remember when I got warrior once and 3 of the cards in my hand turned into Cursed Blades. Wasn't even mad, that was just hilarious. Play it if you haven't tried it yet!
This thread inspired to play a game with a renounce deck. I turned into a Paladin and my deck had SIX Ragnaros, Lightlords in it. SIX! My opponent had me beaten on every other turn, and every time I just pulled another rag to heal up (and even one more from a barnes). Kinda felt bad for the guy, but not really. He "wowed" after I played #4 and they just kept coming. Sadly I had one more left in my hand when he conceded that he didn't even get to see.
So, I love this card. I opened a golden copy when WOTOG came out, and I recently crafted a second gold one (I know its ridiculous). My goal is to make at least a decent, playable version of the deck. Obviously the question is, which neutrals do you include? I want as few neutrals as possible to maximize the "fun potential" of my random class cards. However, I've found that to make the deck more playable, you need a certain amount of specific neutrals. These are the ones that have worked well for me:
2x Mistress of Mixtures You need to Lifetap at least once or twice to fill up your hand before renouncing, and youre gonna take a beating from aggro decks on the first few turns at least. Mistress is pretty much essential to keep you competitive past the third turn. She is as close to an auto-include in this deck as there is.
2x Antique Healbot Same as mistress, but for mid to late stages of the game. Keeps you alive to enjoy your new class.
1x Doomsayer I only have one copy and its pretty great in stalling the early turns. Works really well so far.
1x Elise the Trailblazer Well this is just for the shenanigans. Probably not essential or optimal, but I happen to have unpacked it so I figure might as well toss it in the deck. Renouncing can also lead to having an empty hand in later stages of the game, because your cards are cheap and you wont necessarily have enough draw to refill the hand.
1x Gadgetzan Auctioneer Double edged sword. Works great with your discounted class cards. But will leave you prone to reaching fatigue way too soon if youre not careful. IF your Renounces are buried in your deck at the start of the game you will tap and draw a lot already. I still like 1 copy but not essential for the deck IMO.
1x Azure Drake Just solid, you need card draw both pre and post renouncing. Spell damage and a nice body can never hurt.
1x Ragnaros the Firelord Just in case your new class doesnt give you enough firepower.
1x Stonehill Defender Been using this to decent effect, the only problem is that you discover Warlock taunts which are not very good.
In your opinion, is it good to run now?

I lost to a renounce deck yesterday, so I think it's shit. But when I play renounce then it's fun.
