Some cool new cards revealed today but I was wondering how the "portal" mechanic works for the warlock quest as well as the rogue legendary minion...
As shown in the videos, the portal things take up a board spot for minion placement but will this affect cards like Mind Control Tech? Or does a player need to have what I would call 4 "active" minions. Also I assume that MC-Tech wouldn't steal portals as that would be outrageously unfair...but who knows.
Can people confirm how this will work? Generally curious, thanks!
in the diablo anniversary tavern brawl you could steal enemys portal and become the cow king yourself, so i think the nether portal can be stolen via mct or sylvanas proc, will just be untargetable and immune to damage. my question is if you can kill hunters new legendary with bgh, and if bgh surveve
Hmm, ok good to know. And another good question regard BGH, I would think he trumps Hunter Legendary because the battlecry happens before the minion is played on the board.

As i said, nether portal can't get stolen whatever you do
Well they said it can't be destroyed or stolen so there's that. I think the interaction with the cow king in tavern brawl was intentionally coded that way so that you can steal it and become cow king.

BGH definitely does kill the King, but the real question is whether the death resolves before the attack or not.
Positioning is very important in zoo and board space is actually relevent sometimes so I would like to know as I haven't seen this answered anywhere yet...
If you play Twisting Nether when this is on the board, I think it'll stay, as it's not a minion, but I wonder how it'll look. Must look very weird to have everything sucked into the nether except the portal...
if you try to put and argus between the portal and an imp with another imp to the other side of the portal would the argus taunt both imps or just one?
Just the adyacent imp i think, the portal isn't a minion.
Permanent cards are minion cards that lack Attack and Health, are untargetable, are immune to all effects except their own, and take up more or less a permanent residence on the battlefield. Permanent cards are impossible to remove once they enter play, except in some cases through their own effects.
Permanent minions do not count as eligible targets for triggered effects such as Blood Imp. If a triggered effect that requires a target has no target other than a permanent minion, it will not activate. If a Deathrattle such as Zealous Initiate that requires a target is activated with only a permanent minion on the board, it will have no effect.
Permanent minions are not susceptible to any kind of effect, including AoE, such as Deathwing, DOOM! or Brawl.
Because they cannot be affected by outside effects, permanent minions as a rule cannot be destroyed, damaged or transformed. However, permanent minions can be affected by their own effects. For example, Sherazin, Seed is immune to all outside effects, but can transform itself into Sherazin, Corpse Flower.
Permanent minions take up a place on the battlefield like any other minion, and count toward the 7 minion limit.
As detailed above, permanent minions are not considered minions for most purposes, but still count as such for effects such as that of Reliquary Seeker.
Permanent minions are not affected by positional effects such as Flametongue Totem or Cone of Cold, but still count as adjacent minions, effectively 'soaking' their effects without consequence.
Due to their lack of stats, permanent minions cannot attack, although their card text may allow them to perform other actions such as summoning minions or buffing adjacent minions. Because of this, all current permanent minions possess either triggered or ongoing effects.

In the stream he said that the only way to get rid of these is to concede

So A: does nether portal use a board space?
and B: how does it position the imps?

Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?

It has to be snakes.
