Make them dispellable to a 1/1. Might ruin Jade Druid archetype but nobody will care
Ruin what is already barely a tier 2 deck. What an awesome idea.
Nobody except this guy
I'm saying why would you nerf something that already is just a tier 2 deck? Are you just mad that jade druid wins the long game above other control decks?
No, the problem is that we have the problems WITH fast decks BECAUSE of Jade Druid. Every control deck (in standard) got destroyed by Jade Druid. You can't outpace them, you can't fatigue them, you can't defeat them. So instead of Control Warrior smacking Pirate Warrior in it's ass, nobody plays control warrior anymore because you have a 10% chance to win against Jade Druid. So Pirate dominates the meta over and over and over and over and over again.
And all the fault is Jade Idol. Blizzard should finally Fix Jade idol and make it not copying itself over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again and again... If this gets finally fixed (by making the card not copy itself, instead you get only jade Tolens that you can play at the same cost, but without an choose one-effect.
So yes, Jade Druid is down, but only because it already destroyed every control deck out there.

let me repeat here what ive said at least half a dozen times every time this gets brought up.
1. jade doesn't ruin all control decks
2. jade merely removes fatigue as the primary win condition
3. because of the strength of reno and pace of aggro, any other control deck has to be reno based
4. since reno decks mostly use fatigue as their win condition, it feels like "jade druid ruined control"
5. because reno is mostly only three classes (because of brann + kazakus) and reno mage sees little to no play, and reno priest sees no play, it feels like "jade druid ruined control"
6. look at renolock, which has the tools necessary to burst down jade druid. why is it different? because it doesn't rely on fatigue as its primary win condition
As soon as control decks have the tools to a) not rely on reno jackson, b) produce enough of a late game threat or burst as to not rely on fatigue as their primary win condition, we'll stop circle jerking about how jade druid ruined control. sure, if all you ever do as a control deck is try to go to fatigue, you'll lose every time vs jade druid. if i were you, i would be more concerned about what tools are or are not coming that help fulfill these things.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Problem is you have to pressure Jade Druid from early or at least mid game when the jade still small. Ofc no true control deck capable of doing this, because if they can do it, they will become midrange deck at least. You guy keep saying go big drop , no fatique. Ofcourse I do that, but at turn 8 forward the Jade is as big as our big drop, so it no help. In Wild, I have a greedy stack CW with Baron Geddon, Dr.Boom, Ragnaros, Grommash, Ysera and Alex and I still lose to Jade druid 60% of the time. How can I go more bigdrop than THAT?
Though I feel like it doesn't make much sense, but I just can't ignore it:
(I'm sorry for possible mistakes, I'm not a native speaker)
1. Jade is the main reason why most control decks almost don't see any play on competitive level
2. Maybe fatigue decks are not the best, but the fact that a certain deck is immune to one of the basic game mechanics and literally has infinite resources is disgusting
3. Any other control deck has to be Reno based( mainly renolock), cause if you play control deck you can go pretty well against aggro, but you will be completely destroyed by jade decks, cause you will just run out of removals.
4. Jade Druid has actually ruined control, cause the only way to deal with it is to have a way to burst down your opponent, most classes just don't have such opportunity
5. Again, jade Druid actually ruined it, and as I mentioned most classes don't have a way to suddenly deal 20+ damage from your hand, that's why Reno priest and mage are rare
6. Renolock is different because of his potential combo. Any other class is doomed vs jade Druid in the late game( for example, you can beat Druid fast playing reno priest or Control warrior, but the rng gods have to be completely on your side)
Control decks are not only about fatigue. They rely on their removals and their own big threats. But you will just run out of removals and your potential big threats are nothing if we compare them to infinite jade golems( if we don't talk about combo tool, but most control decks are not about that).
Jade Druid is considered to be slower than usual control deck. That's why it has a source of infinite golems. But they are just not slow enough. Only first golem has a downside, second one has usual stats and all golems that come after that are much better than other minions for that price. While jade Druid beats control decks and is actually not that bad against aggro. Control decks are slightly better vs aggro, but they have almost no chance against jade Druid.(except warlock)
I'm not a fan of Reno decks and may play jade Druid myself, but It just doesn't feel right. I am absolutely sure that potential infinite value of jade druid is the key problem. Control decks can't adopt vs aggro, cause they would be punished by jade even more. And aggro decks are encouraged to be as fast as they can so they wouldn't allow jade golems to grow up.
Are we really at the point where people are defending a card that spawns infinite rising stat minions for ONE mana each?
Jade Druid is the only deck that ignores the fatigue barrier and that alone isn't good. On top of that, you have the cost/stat deal. Again, why is this even being defended? How slow the deck is or how aggro keeps it in check doesn't matter. It's existence alone is mind-boggling.

Lol and fatigue is good for the game? Now that's mind boggling. It's also mind boggling that people think something shouldn't have something that hard counters the fuck out of it. Do you truly want this to become the most boring game in existence?
Jade idol kill control and fatigue it is good for the game, because it is a way to end the game. Also i really prefer to play a loooong game whit any ontrol deck than a long deck against jade druid.I prefer pirates over jade because at least they don´t kill a arquitype in the same way jade druid does. What is more, jade are parasitic, you have to go agrro if you want to beat them.I had to put alex in my cw so i can burst them whit gromash

Dude your first point is so wrong. Reno mage and Reno lock have seen an insane amount of competitive play throughout gadgetzan even with Jade druid being there.

This. Defending this Jade idol card is a hapless thing to do. Not buying it. It's a joke and the stupidest idea ever and the HS team has done some pretty stupid things before. Infinite FAT bodies for like zero cost is just.....huh? What the fuck? Who? What? I dont even care about the fatigue barrier, I'm more concerned with the fact that this jade shirt has caused hyper aggro to plague ladder since it's the only real way to deal with it. Midrange decks stand NO chance against a Jade deck and as everyone knows neither do control decks. Jade shaman is no better since they get use Jade mechanics with their insanely overpowered other cards. Fuck that. Nerf it or just get rid of it completely. Make it go up in cost until it's ten mana and then it stays there.
If Jade Idol spawns five 10/10 Jade Golems in one turn with help of Gadgetzan Auctioneer, the game is over. So what? If Leeroy and faceless charged you for 20 damage to face, the game was over as well. Two win conditions and both lead to a win. Surprise!
As long as Jade is not oppressive and can be countered by the right deck choice, I don't see a problem.
Jade Idol IS oppressive. Jade as a mechanic is not inherently oppressive. While annoying to play against with a control deck when going against Jade Shaman or Rogue, I don't feel the utter futility I feel when knowing my primary win condition (either late-game value or fatigue) is made completely obsolete by infinite one-mana cycling golems. It's broken and unhealthy to the game state as fuck. Like literally everyone else has said here, the reason the meta is dominated by aggro and midrange is because aggro and midrange are the only archetypes fast enough to get ahead of the Jadestone, and the primary counters to aggro and midrange, control decks, are completely subdued by vomiting Jades onto the board via Jade iDumb.

Unless there is a heavy nerf and quickly, Hearthstone will stagnate and the aggro meta brought on by Jadestone will never die down. At least Reno requires some skill and knowledge of balancing deck consistency with card quality. Reno decks weren't always Rock Paper Scissors. The Rock Paper Scissors Effect is a direct consequence of MSOG.

Kaladin's RoS Set Review
Join me at Out of Cards!
I played Aviana Kun the other day, had to break up the ultimate combo for survival.
Down to 3 cards with zero library- Auctioneer, Raven idol and Feral Rage.
Was about to concede and played the Raven idol.
Discovered Jade idol.
Created infinite Jades since the priest could not remove auctioneer.
Priest conceded despite having commanding lead. I had to take a shower after that....

Yes it really needs a nerf because it gives druids infinite resources. Wth !!!!
No don't nerf jade idol card
JUST REMOVE IT !!
I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D

Nerf it to oblivion, Pirate Warrior doesn't exist because of this but ALL warriors are Pirate Warrior BECAUSE of this.
Who wants to play a deck that is an auto lose against jade druid (and also jade shaman 20/80).
I mean even Freeze Mage had a chance against Control Warrior (include malygos combo).
Fuck this card and anyone defending it.
Suck My Lollipop!
Calling for the nerf!! We all know it will happen sooner or later, so lets just get it over with so we can enjoy a new expansion.
Card is the definition of broken and has too much effect on the meta
Control is killed by reno not jade idol...
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !
