Cho'gall is not good in standard because lack of good healing cards and good spells. Yeah you could put a 7/7 minion on the board and use Siphon Soul and bring down your health by 3, but what's the point! TBH Cho'gall is not worth to be legendary.
Also Anomalus is not a great late game legendary. It's better to dust Cho'gall for classic legendary.
I think there could be a potential control mage waiting for anomalus to see play, but to get value from him the opponent needs an insane board, which means after you play him you are most likely dead the next turn.
I guess it could be worth it. N'Zoth is ruling the meta right now.
I don't have it but the general census seems to be that Anomalus is crap and that you should probably dust it.
I have Cho'gall and honestly, Warlock just needs a couple more high cost spells that it would benefit off of and Cho'Gall would be a solid card. I'd suggest you keep Cho'Gall because he might get better in upcoming card sets.
Cho'Gall is just waiting for a card to break it. He could be good before he rotates out.
This. Cho'Gall is the kind of card developers look at a few years down the line and say, "What the hell were we thinking?!" He lets you cast a spell for free. Think about how powerful that could be. Imagine if Warlock got a card along the lines of "Lay on Hands" - suddenly, his battlecry effectively becomes "draw three cards". Now, that probably won't happen (Hearthstone future-proofs better than that), but do you really think they won't put out anything that makes him worth playing in the next year? That would shock me. Even now, playing him with something like Siphon Soul is already halfway to decent. Don't dust Cho'Gall until he rotates out.
Speaking personally I'm a collector and wouldn't dust either of them even if I needed to.
However the general consensus that I understand from talking to friends is that Cho'Gall is a very good card, it just has no major spells that can be played from it yet. Anomalous... is bad right now.
At the end of the day it comes down to if you believe that combined those two have less value than N'Zoth, which isn't a hard decision really.
Do not dust Cho'gall! Everybody thinks it is a bad card because it's OK and not awesome. It is good at this moment now, I like it cause its battlecry is so unique. Warlock has many removals like Siphon Soul, Shadowflame or even Shadow Bolt, using Cho'gall with one of these is a great tempo play. We will get new class spells sometimes and it will be better. Control type Warlocks will use it in the future.
I've crafted Cho'gall in the first days of the new expansion and don't regret it.
We have 7 Month till next expansion. Between this there is only one adventure. Dont dust it. You have enough time to collect the legendaries you want.
7 months? 5-6 months, every half year an expansion, so it should be there in October/November, 2 months until the next adventure.
The adventure cards were really strong, every adventure had an almost equal amount of cards in the meta like a whole expansion, especially TGT. There may be something really useful coming with the adventure.
Thank you for your insight my friend. But I must ask. Do you think they are both worth dusting for N'zoth? I'm going to craft Sylvanas as well if that helps in the decision. I'm thinking long term and versatility.

should I dust my Anomolus and cho'gal for N'Zoth?
Probably.. I doubt they will ever see serious play
Seems ok.
Yes, I dusted my golden Cho. I don't have an Anomalous but I am certain it will never see play.
My legendary count excluding adventure legendaries, dupes and old murk eye: 40
$$$ spent on this game: 0

Anomalus has uses but it's not great. I would dust it if you're desperate but you never know.
Seems ok.

Cho'gall is AMAZING. Just not right now. Don't dust it, unless you REALLY need the dust. Like, getting to legend or busted "need".
Would keep chogall for future releases, every spell released for warlock might be relevant.. So far only siphon soul is worth running with it

Cho will be OP for sure,.. at some point. Maybe during it's time in standard, but will be great in Wild someday.
Imagine a Cho+Maly Deck.. We just need some good spells.

Never dust legendaries unless you really need to craft something.
