To be honest, it doesn't look like you had many competitive decks available to you even during WW other than maybe taunt druid, cubelock and evenlock. All of those have been almost totally unchanged for the last two expansions and they should work just fine right now. Decks that don't contain many legendaries in the first place like zoo (is that what you're calling keleseth warlock?) are good too. You can play a f2p version of these just fine with no crafting required. Even imperfect versions should be good enough to reach legend
if you're looking to craft stuff:
You're 1x The Soularium away from the meta zoo list. That and Soul Infusion is the only new card they got from the last two expansions. The rest you should have from pre-WW
Missing The Lich King (rotating soon) for evenlock and taunt druid. Literally no new cards in these decks, they're powerful enough without help. For taunt druid, there is now a new beast/undertaker build but there's no evidence that it's stronger/weaker than the traditional build yet
You're missing Twig of the World Tree (rotating soon) and Flobbidinous Floop to make malygos druid. Unlike the other decks I mentioned here, twig is a must run in maly druid and can't be replaced. This deck existed in WW and since you don't have it, I assume you're not interested now. No new cards from the last expansion whatsoever
Lord Godfrey and Zilliax are in cubelock now. Note that the deck was nerfed mid-WW but is still competitive. Zilliax is also a great card to craft as it's used in many decks and packages
Funny you would mention you enjoy playing mage, hunter, rogue, warlock. These are basically the top classes right now but with the exception of warlock, you're very, very far from being able to build the decks that make the classes top tier as they are
Anyway, I wouldn't worry about missing the last two expansions much. There weren't very many impactful cards at all. The most relevant things are a few legendaries which you can just craft (the commons, rares and epics are mostly garbage). For most meta decks right now, you're missing more cards from before WW rather than after. Of course, this will probably change when Ungoro, KFT and K&C rotate next expansion
Thank you for your advice. Was very honest and fair but something I can practically work with. I see you mention some cards that I may be missing to make the decks I will need. Is it too much to ask you to put together a small list of those cards that I can work towards crafting them?

I was playing mostly Highlander priest. But I was also running Keleseth Lock and Rogue. Mage and hunter sometimes. To be clear, I have most of the cards throughout all expansions and adventures up until Boomsday. Here's some screenshots of my standard legendaries and my dust.
So I've kinda been outta HS since The WItchwood expansion. Been really busy with work and a bad net connection for months. Finally got some time and decent wifi. Logged back into HS 2 expansions later and the meta has changed substantially. I lose basically all my matches. You can imagine how frustrating this is.
So let's just get down to it. I don't have much gold and I can't afford to buy packs with actually money. However, I've been an avid player since Naxxramas so I do have a pretty decent card collection.
I'm wondering if I can get some help with as many competitive decks I could build? All pre Boomsday Project ofcourse as I have none of those cards. I have some dust saved up so I could craft some of the cards I might need.
I just want to be able to complete enough quests untill I can buy about 20 packs for each outstanding expansion. If I can't make up for lost times before the next expansion I don't see a point to keep playing because I'll be too far behind to stay competitive.
So... Anybody willing to help a long time player looking to get back into the game? Drop deck lists and advice below.
Thanks for the advice. And I've taken the rotation into account and honestly I would rather dominate the meta for 4 months and then decide where I go from there. I would run something like a big druid deck. It would also cost less dust to make (lich and 2 infestations=2400 dust). But it won't be as viable as the priest. Only thing is I think I might have to craft Lyra.
Hey everybody. I just opened 86 KoC packs and some classics for a total of 8 legendaries! Two of which being Prophet Velen and Hadronox. Now here's my problem. I want to craft either Shadowreaper Anduin or The Lich King but I only have 2900 dust and I might need to craft some epics etc.
Here is the case for each:
Shadowreaper Anduin: I already have Kazakus, Raza and Malygos. With Velen now aquired, my death knight priest deck would be pretty good to say the least.
The Lich King: I have Staghelm and Malfurion the Pestilent. No Ultimate Infestation though (would craft). But the Lich King addition would still make a strong Druid deck with support.
So with all that said. What do you guys think? I'm clearly leaning more towards Anduin but with I think Lich King will be more versatile and useful in the long term. What say you?
Hey everybody I need some council from my hearthstone pals.
I can't afford to spend money on hearthstone but I still play very avidly. Here is the situation tho...
I've saved up around 5000 gold since the release of wog as well as 14 classic packs through tavern brawl etc as of writing this post. Was planning to do a big pack opening soon but then..... the new adventure was announced.
So my question is what do you think is the best way to spend my gold?
Should I just spend 2800 and clear the adventure? Or should I proceed as planned and buy 50 wog packs and focus on this latest advfenture later? I know the answer really lies in how meta changing the new adventure's cards will be (which is still left to be seen). In any case I'll still have 2 years to buy the adventure and I'll rack up the 2800 in about 3 months.
So what do you guys think? Fresh packs or new adventure?

I had the same experience. Rez priest took me from bronze to gold in no time. Was beating hunters and rogues and outlasting mages.

Logged in today and got "Shield of Galakrond" but no copies of Galakrond himself. What the hell is going on?

That seems too late in the game to make much difference don't you think?
