It's a bit of Dr. 8, but the great thing about Dr. 7 is that he is a 7-drop. And he is probably the only 7-drop that you can play alone and have impact. Gahz'rilla? Nah. Too slow, easy to remove (ping and BGH, Shadow Word Death, Sap). The best answer to Dr. 7 is a Lightbomb with yourself having an empty board, and swallow the 2-8 dmg to your face. You're a priest, after all. And then you have 1-2 mana, basically you can't do nothing.
The problem with Dr. Boom is not too much value, it's too much value on turn 7 (or even 3, if you're a druid).
Call of the Wild is cancelled by Flamestrike, basically only the 5-dmg from huffer resulting. It's easier to deal with than Dr. Balanced (against other midrange deck, he could trade and rebuild, not so easy against Dr. Boom, you'll probably need to trade 2 minions into the Dr himself, and lose others to the bombs), and costs 1-mana more.
OP on value, of course, but late enough in the game to be kind of balanced.

Fool, DB is out of standard, plus unless you are an idiot you will bait flamestrike.

Fool, casual isn't out of the game.
And what are you trying to be, calling people fool? A villain from a Disney movie?

Flamestrike to kill a Evil Heckler and a bad 3-drop? And you can deal 5 damage? Sounds good.
This card is better than Dr. Boom, if the Animal Companions get cleared by a board clear , a targeted 5 damage is still better than 2 Boom Bots deathrattle. Could really Bolster a lot of hunter decks.
I don't know Chinese, but that looks like a small amount of text, and no numbers? I'm going with summon each of the Companions!
I know its been posted long time ago but i can't resist myself since i'm learning japanese. Chinese and effectively Japanese has there there numeric system in there ideogram system and 三 is 3 :p here you have table with chinese numbers, might be good for future card translations for people (also reading here are in japanese, but those numbers work the same in chinese)
wow insane card for control Hunter if that ever becomes a viable archetype....maybe in Wild some day ;)

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
Way to go dude. You are the loser who makes an unoriginal comment and provides no argument or reasoning. The human race is proud of your existence.
I assumed I was speaking to other people that have actually played hearthstone here? Not idiots like yourself. That i didn't need to explain, it should be obvious, look at the card. It compares favourably to every other card at it's cost, does 5 immediate damage, controls the board. The value is insane, the tempo is insane.
You don't have to go back very far to find a time when everyone hated mid-range hunters. Have fun playing aginst Highmane, Highmane, this, 6, 7, 8. Dumbass.
It's instant 5 damage but I don't think a Control Hunter (which is the archtype that Blizzard is trying to create) would run this over a big, bad 8/9 drop. It's just too vulnerable to late-game board clears and it's not exactly an answer to a big dude in a Control vs Control game. It might be a 1-off in some Midrange lists, though.

You also save the need to draw 3 cards to summon 3 animal companions, and you take out the RNG.
Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
MTG/Hearthstone biases to avoid
Reframing negative Hearthstone experiences to improve at the game
Who's the Beatdown?
OP
If mages are willing to put Flamestrike in their deck to kill this one Hunter card, then more power to them.
Y NO 3 RANDOM HUFFER?
cool

Playable ... But not in face hunter
Could it be possible that Control Hunter will actually become Tier One? Lets wait and see. Firebat and Thjis, lookin at you here.
