Indeed, but still it's 100% luck so you could get 5 Astral Communion so in the end it's not very effective... but that's just my opinion maybe it will see play in some decks...
thats 1/8 chances you get to row on a mage, and on top of that, you still have to chance getting all those options....
the one mana reduction is nice, but not for the randomization.... it's just more esport than esport doombots. its beyond unstable portal esport.... and even if thats the case, why not just play the class you want and then drop emperor or in mage's case, sorcerer's apprentice? why replace your doomguard if you are running zoo or lord jaxx if you are running handlock for a chance at what? a shot in the dark?
and then you have to consider the turn you play it. what turn would you play this? turn 2 early game where you probably prefer the options you have in your hand and deck? or turn 5+ late game where you might not have as many class cards.....
also consider the deck you want to run it in. hand lock is very specific in what it runs while zoo doesn't have as much class card you want to sub out.....
you have to built a new decktype from it and probably play with as much class spells and minions as possible to get a good chance of getting multiple cards replace and you have to get it early enough to replace all the shit you might end up playing with.
This card has a lot of mysteries about it. Do we choose the class ? Will it be a discover ? I guess it must change all warlock card maybe even those in play since you renounced to darkness, no more black magic and demon summoning....Just a random class would suck...
You still have to draw Anthonidas.. Yeah obviously they cost 1 less which makes it good IF RNG is on your side...but it's easier to actually use a tempo mage with 100% odds of having anthonidas in your deck IMO.

I like this card because you can use a control deck with very situational cards like Sacrificial Pact, Bane of Doom, Mortal Coil, etc... and change any useless for new random cards costing less mana, but need real testing for sure.
For a game without sideboard is something to consider.
Your soul should be mine! erh.... I mean... for justice!
If this card never see competitive games I will be fine with it, play it and have fun.
If this reach competitive games, I will be so sad this is not a discover at least...
Question: this card chance your warlock cards for another class at same cost or completely random? I mean... a Twisting Nether can be changed for a Lay or hands or anything like a Sword of Justice or things like that?

However, I'm not too sure about how the card works, but it appears that it will either change the cards into random cards from one class or it will completely randomize where the cards come from (i.e. having Prophet Velen and Healing Wave in the same deck). I am really hoping that it will be completely random, but odds are it wont be.

I assume cost of cards will not be the same. But you can't have cards from several classes at once. You will have a hero power, and cards from the class of this hero power.
Also, what happens when a Rogue uses Burgle after I "switched" my class? They will get Warlock cards. You didn't switch your class.
What happens when another class uses this card? Could they potentially get a Warlock Hero Power that way? Nothing will happen unless they somehow got warlock cards in their deck or got the warlock hero power from finley
What class cards will I be discovering once Renounce Darkness was used? Warlock cards. Again, you don't switch class.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
Why would you wreck your hand to get random cards? It ruins any kind of synergy you had, and the cards only cost 1 less. Sounds like a huge gamble to me.
I think even those change. But I'm not sure cause everything on this card is short explained (probably cause card already has lot of text) so maybe Blizzard didn't have enough room to write "in hand and deck". But if they didn't cause minions on board do change then yes, you can turn your imps into tirion.
You can compare it to Golden Monkey which states "Replace your hand and deck with Legendary minions." It doesn't just say "Replace your cards with Legendary minions." cause it doesn't effect the board.

Quite sure cards on board are not changed because they are minions.
I don't know how good this card is going to be, but I know how fun this card is going to be.

this is to me the astral communion of warlock.

I think it's a really cool card, and can be really good in zoo because you run mostly neutral and warlock burn. I just don't like it being random

Renounce darkness? With MY warlock?
Never!
This card looks like good fun, but I can't imagine it actually working out that well most of the time. Hoping for good draws off this is... Eh...
Never lucky, always salty!
2 mana Warlock Spell: Ruin your hero power and your deck.
This card :
IDEA!
Play a Reno deck with 1x of each neutral card
When you play this card it's unlikely due to the amount of class cards that you would get very many duplicates.
This card basically circumvents the downside of playing a Reno deck! I love it!

The way that it is described sounds like they will be completely random, meaning that a Twisting Nether could change into a Sword of Justice or maybe even a Shielded Minibot.

So you keep the neutral minions... Hmm... I hope I don't get hunter - I don't want to see any cobra shots in my hand...

Yea, but then it doesn't really explain why Golden Monkey was so specific and this card isn't.
