    Deathwing - Nobody expects this card in constructed. That's why I run it.

    I am more sick of reno decks than any aggro decks. (I don't think the aggro decks are THAT good... compared to aggro decks in the old meta..I personally have at least 70% winrate against all pirate aggro decks (pirate shaman, pirate dragon warrior, pirate rogue)... (and 30% against any reno decks cuz Kazakus!)

    I rarely see aggro decks anymore... Loads of people are running Reno decks to counter aggro...to a point it is harder to see aggro decks. 70% are RENO decks.. so boring to see 4 consecutive renolocks in a row.... (thanks KAZAKUS! and bunch of new OP warlock cards!)

    But this may be due to the fact that I didn't try this season (only rank 12.. got sick of the boring decks I play against on ranked)

    I want the ladder to get a little more creative... Like my Kraken/Deathwing Ramp Druid! (this is the deck I am crushing aggro with... but does terrible against priest, miracle rogue, reno decks.. jade decks..)

    I agree with AbusingKel about going face. First of all, it is fun SMOrcing.

    In situations like this (which is opposite of Kel's), where you have something like a full health have a pit fighter on turn 8, and your opponent only has river crocolisk at like 15 health, just go face!(With an exception to play around an AOE you are able to play around). If your opponent has something like a shadow bolt to destroy your pit fighter, by going face instead of trading, you dealt 5 more damage to your opponent, which is large enough health gap to decide games.

    Well, mage is still broken.

    The Karazhan buff gives an average mage around 2 Firelands Portal.

    You can play around Flamestrike, but you can't play around Firelands Portal.. So Mage got even much stronger...

    I think I said this is a salt discussion... But whatever.... This discussion is to mainly talk about salt from mages.

    Let me add few more cards to the list

    Fireball

    Combined with Firelands Portal, Mage can now burst down opponents in arena (just had an 12-2 arena run with 2 fireball sand 2 firelands portal)... I even bursted my opponent from 21 health from turn 7.. so..

    Medivh's Valet

    Some mage secrets aren't garbage... like Vaporize or Mirror Entity ; yes, vaporize sucks on turn 3, but on turn 5, it is decent if you can play it well.

    Medivh's valet is 2/3 for 2 mana, which isn't terrible stats (unlike bloodfen raptor which dies to shielded minibot for almost free)

    Playing a secret, getting a 2/3 while dealing 3 damage on turn 5 is a REALLY strong play.. (I see this guy being activated so many times with my 7+win mages)

    And Flamewaker - It feels like that the number of spells on average you draft for mage increased... so this card is insane (2 damage split randomly is much better than 2 damage to random enemy..). And you know how it feels to face this card in constructed.... So I will end here.

     

    Yes, I do think Mages are REALLY overpowered. I play mage EVERY SINGLE time I see it. and pretty decent at it too. (1 0win (retired), 1 1win, the other 6 are all above 7 wins, with my recent 12-2 arena)

    Guys.. This is a salt discussion... (Obviously not to be taken literally... ) Talking about how a single card can have a butterfly effect to turn the game around and win you games..

    But Really, among all the cards, I actually think that we should see less weapons in arena (rarity or rare) because it is a HUGE tempo swing, easily 2 for 1, Firelands Portal and Ethereal Conjurer..(these cards are just too broken in arena).

    And MCtech and Unstable Portal are poorly designed cards which totally depend on rng to work. (For MC tech... your opponent probably doesn't have 4 bog creepers on the board...  so it is based so much on rng... Same with Unstable Portal)

     And for sap... Don't you have so many games where you summon an ogre or Bog Creeper, and you can't do anything because Sap is too much of a tempo swing for? Among all arena games, the ones that give the most displeasure are games that are decided by (1. broken a$$ cards while my cards are garbage 2. one way tempo swing (0 tempo during entire game) 3. losing to major RNG). I actually think that the cards I listed above fit one of the 3 categories above.

     For the coin - Personally, I average around 6 wins in arena. I also have higher winrate with the coin. Generally prefer decks with higher curve. (so I do play warrior quite many times because it is the control class, and I think the weapons are broken...). For the coin, I am just saying that this shouldn't count as a spell or a combo - did you guys never see a mage with mana wyrm on turn 1 while going second? or turn 2 SI:7 which gave the HUGE early game tempo swing you couldn't recover.

    The Coin, if used properly or used to curve out, results in much stronger board position than playing without the coin. (As a "control" arena deck drafter, I usually end up with double 3 drops or just a 2 drop and 2 4 drops, so I have better winrate with the coin)

    And last of all, Screw Topdeck Deathwing.

    Ethereal Conjurer - Give your opponent a Flamestrike or Firelands Portal, while you get a shatter

    Sap - Tempo king. 2 mana: win the game

    THE COIN - (going second isn't that good...but ) the fact that this counts as a spell and can activate combos... (SI-7 on turn 2, flamewaker, mana Wyrm) seems a little broken.

    I will start a list of cards that we think should be removed from the arena...

    1) Firelands Portal - I think everybody gets why this is on the list...

    2) Unstable Portal - Hearthstone is now RNGstone... (I faced turn 3 Mistcaller in the arena before...)

    3) MC tech - Too much RNG based.. (and it always takes your best minion)//(but this card is sometimes fun unlike others on the list)

    4) Kel'Thuzad- Just an insane card in arena... (That feeling when your opponent summons Dr.7 on turn 7, and this on turn 8...)

    5) Dr.Balanced - Perfectly Balanced in arena.. isn't it? (All I need are 2 wisps and a war golem to counter that.... JK)

    6) Fiery War Axe, Fool's Bane/ Most of class weapons - Weapons are just to broken in arena right now... They should be at least a rare

    7) four mana seven seven- In constructed, it isn't too hard removing this card from the board... but this is arena... we have like no spells..

    Any other cards????

     

    Cards that we should NEVER remove from arena

    Magma Rager, Wisp - KAPPA. This card gives me smile whenever I see it.
