So i just got a golden Cenarius, I don't play druid at all so I will be dusting him for a legendary I actually want. Here's my situation. The 3 decks I currently enjoy playing are my Malygod rogue, Mage, and Shaman. All these decks will benefit from bloodmage, as I am currently using a kobold in it's spot. It's just hard to bring myself to spend 1600 dust on a 1/1. I understand why bloodmage is so good, it has a lot of value, and it also has a lot of versatility as it can be put in pretty much any deck that has spell damage.
My other option is Leeroy. I do enjoy playing aggro decks, and have been curious to try leeroy out in a rogue deck. But I feel If I craft leeroy I would just be replacing Malygos which I already have as my finisher in my rogue deck. So in a sense I would just be crafting one legendary to replace another. Whereas If I go with bloodmage I can ADD him to my 3 favorite decks. Please someone tell me what to do. Also open to any other crafting suggestions on different cards, maybe some that I hadn't thought about, or slightly considered (maybe nat pagle?)
Legendaries I already own: Al'Akir, The Black Knight, Malygos

Read the bolded part i just highlighted because you just answered your own question :D Just craft him you wont regret it at all honestly, best legendary i ever crafted.
The bloodmage is from a mathematical standpoint far stronger than it appears. It can serve as a token, it boosts spell power and it draws out enemy removal early in the game. When they do use their removal or kill, it replaces itself with another card. This turns the balance away from the opponent early in the game.

Go with Leeroy... As someone who crafted Bloodmage then Leeroy, I wish I had done it in reverse (Arcane Golem is a poor poor finisher compared to Leeroy)
Bloodmage Thalnos is a carefully considered, thoughtful play that can give you a critical value swing at just the right moment. It's the Mozart of Hearthstone cards. Leeroy Jenkins is a wannabe Fireball for desperate players who need to throw a hail mary at the last minute. You'll feel like you have to take a shower after every time you play him.

With the decks you like to run, Bloodmage Thalnos would be quite good. I was in the exact same situation as you once, trying to convince myself to craft Bloodmage Thalnos...even doing this very thing, asking for advice and people to convince me.
I play Shaman a lot and Bloodmage Thalnos had made the difference for me countless times over. It feels insane to spend 1,600 dust on him, but in the end, you will not regret it one bit.
Thalnos is amazing in the decks you mentioned. In general Leeroy is the better legendary, but if you want to stick to those three decks, having Thalnos in them makes a huge difference. Kobold Geomancer is not really a replacement for Thalnos

I'm so glad there is prejudice against playing hunter/zoo/[insert FotM deck here]. People like that make the life so much easier for those of us who play to win.

I think you've already convinced yourself :P. Bloodmage Thalnos fits into so many control decks. With Al'Akir (and maybe even TBK), you pretty much have a top tier Shaman deck. Thalnos can be played on the same turn as an AOE spell most of the time since he just costs 2 mana and who cares if he dies the next turn... he replaces himself. If you play a deck that depends on damage dealing spells, Thalnos significantly enhances that deck. Of course if you're into Aggro style decks then go and craft Leeroy instead.
I really don't think you should be crafting Nat Pagle though; there are many other legendaries that are more important to craft.
Thalnos is an absurdly difficult thing to come around to crafting. Why should one spend 1600 dust on a 2 mana legendary that has 1 attack and 1 hp? The reason is he is like two cards in one. He is valuable in the fact that he is a kobold and a loot horder in one, saving you a spot in your deck for card draw, and a spot in your deck for spell power. So you get an extra card to put in your deck either way, and that can be powerful. So by himself Thalnos is just not worth it. But from the perspective of him freeing a card slot? That can make him more than worth it.

No.
Thalnos may not have the highest impact but Thalnos often provides a lot of value.
Haha, thanks for that. I know why I SHOULD craft him, but I just have to bring myself to spend 1600 dust on a 1/1
here let me help you. JUST DO IT.
Anyone that doesn't use Leeroy hasn't really played HearthStone.

Love my Thalnos. :) You shant regret it.
Leeroy Jenkins adds another win con to the decks you play and can hardly be replaced.
Bloodmage Thalnos is for utility and can be replaced with cards like Wild Pyromancer or Loot Hoarder.

Do it! I crafted TBK last night and immediately wished he had been Thalnos...
