I agree that the same hate will go to control if all of a sudden the meta slowed down tremendously. If I had to face 4 grinder/freeze mages in a row, I'd have an aneurysm because of the sheer amount of time it takes to complete each game. Not that I'd much prefer facing 4 face hunters in a row but my point is aggressive decks have a place in the game and it keeps the game interesting.
Once you've dug your way past the lower ranks or the first few days of the new season where aggro decks dominate, I think there will be a relatively healthy mix of deck archetypes.
I largely agree with Remhouse. You have too much heal. I'd suggest removing 1 Earthen Ring Farseer and add 1 Mortal Coil. I personally don't find Loatheb to be helpful but it's not wrong to have him in a Handlock deck. Depending on the meta you're facing, you can switch to 2 X Hellfire and 1 X Shadowflame. Hellfire is great against aggressive decks.
Goggles - Handlock created by a user called goggles in the tempostorm website. IMO a very solid deck that is my current laddering deck.
Nuba - An ancient control warrior deck that is now obsolete but I didn't bother removing it (Yes, it is named after the person who created the deck)
Face Hunter - It's in the name. Tried it for a while but it's just not my style.
Control Hunter - It's in the name. Not to my taste as well.
Reynad - I think this is a mech druid. Looked cool but I never tried it.
Gaaratoken - Token druid from seasons past.
Strifecro - Token druid from centuries past.
Demonlock 2 - Having superceded 'Demonlock', it is my current go to Demon deck. The list is from this site and it's a very fun deck. Just not consistent enough for ladder.
Mech Handlock - The handlock that preceded Goggles. Confusingly named because the only mech it's got is Antique Healbot. Yeah. Solid deck but not strong enough versus control. Got the list off this site.
It's more fun for me. More cards enable more options in deck-building which leads to more deck archetypes and wilder variations of decks we were familiar with pre-GvG. Can't wait for the next expansion!
In theory mill druid is a counter to handlock as it stops the handlock from tapping, acquiring a massive hand and profiting. Handlock cards are also very precious so it hurts when you start burning your deck.
I was a bit bamboozled when I first encountered mill druid as a Handlock and sadly got served. I think I overvalued my cards (or had a bad hand) and I didn't know what cards are found in a mill druid.
Overall, mill druid is still a joke deck and is not viable in ranked as you will get pwned by the majority of decks out there. If you're using a heavy control deck, familiarise yourself with what cards are found in mill druid and start dumping your hand!
I'd pick either Cairne or Sylvanas as they are probably equal picks. KT is a good legendary but unless you're ahead, he's just gonna be meh for 8 mana. Cairne and Sylvanas are good on their own for 6 mana.
Sorry about your 3-3 run. Sometimes arena screws you over with terrible cards.
I agree with the rest that it's either Sylvannas or Boom. They're the most versatile and are found in so many decks currently. Perhaps Dr. Boom gets the nod because even the more aggressive decks seem to run him.
I think that while the combo does make you roll your eyes when your opponent pulls it off, it's not broken (otherwise you'd see a lot more Druid).
Every good deck in constructed has a way to 'cheat' - force/roar for Druid, cheap giants for Handlock, wild growth/innervate for ramp Druid, shrinkmeister/cabal shadow priest for Priest etc etc.
Luckily, most of the broken stuff in this game has been fixed (the uninteractive miracle rogue and buzzard/unleash combo of the past).

This is a refreshing deck!

HELLO HELLO HELLO

Used this deck to complete a daily quest. Won 5 out of 7 matches. Lost to filthy oil rogue and mid-range hunter. Can't believe zoo actually works.

Depends on your skill and luck... but I'd say be satisfied with 7 although it could be higher.

My first love was midrange Shaman back in open beta. Too bad shaman went downhill soon after and has never become dominant ever since.

I tried this deck in casual to complete quests. This deck was so much fun!

To be fair your deck is very close to optimised. Focus on getting that last Molten Giant and either of Lord Jaraxxus (preferably) or Alexstrasza . To make room, I'd cut Loatheb, Siphon Soul or your last Earthen Ring Farseer.
All the best!
