I decided to run with midrange hunter on account of, screw it, it's what I like. Running things like Armored Warhorse, because I have a golden one. Best win-rates I've had in days. Climbing ladder now, on five straight wins, playing up against 2 golden pirate-goon warriors, and 3 jade shamans. Crushing the pirate warriors on perfect RNG, watching them have to mortal strike my Armored Warhorse, or trade (TRADE LOL) with their Kor'kron Elites.
I'm positive and convinced my success is a blessing for #1, playing hunter, and #2, running slightly weak, but fun, cards like Tomb Spider and Ram Wrangler. Last match took lethal with a 20% for my Flame Juggler to go face for the win.
Play the fun side of this game (at least until the competitive maybe becomes more enjoyable with next patch).
Glad you're having some success but midrange hunter isn't a good choice in this meta. Stupid aggro usually gets ya and of course the never ending removal of dickhead Reno decks outlast you. Midrange decks are just in a bad spot right now which pisses memoff sicne they are my favorite to play. At least you're having fun. Go for it. I just got tired of trying to Tech the right cards into my hunter deck and never was able to get it to be viable.

I guess you can't win, but do you know what I'm scared of the most? Hunter coming back in the lamest way for the new expansion. Blizzard definitely recognizing the lack of hunter, so they're most likely going to print some broken sh*t for Un'Guro, making hunter "great" again.

Sadly you are probably right. Look at shaman...it was a bad class for a while and over the least few seasons it's been the biggest cancer in the game with no end in sight. Alls hunter needs is some card draw, a little healing, and maybe a decent board clear. I'd like to see some weapon and beast synergy too. But yeah, they can't go overboard or else it will just be shaman 2.0. Ugh!

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D
Long ago, I piloted Midrange Hunter to golden portrait. Maybe time to revive it. It sure was alot of fun in the days before Buzzard nerf.
Been doing pretty well with this deck:
Seems workable. Any variant seems almost there. Tier 2 maybe? Maybe that's too much credit.

Hunter is very hard to balance due to its oppressive face power. A little card draw, litte heal, a little broken minion and they are unstopable again.
