So I've been trying the monster hunt this last 2 days and it has been a lot of fun. Managed to beat it with Shaw win the first try, with Tess after like 3 attemps when I got all the jades and with the HP I got a million shurikens and I even won with Toki after a couple attemps and some god RNG but I don't have a clue about what to do with Darius, the HP seems really overwhelming and I feel like I always find some bs that's absolutely unfair I've lost to the fucking amalgam like 3 times cause builds the huge fucker or just keeps flooding the board everytime.
Are there any builds or treasures I should be aiming for? Cause honestly the HP seems so underwhelming most times and I can't seem to find something that makes Darius decent for the last 2 encounters.
Get +2hp on your minions every time you can. Get it two times and every run is easy. I had +2hp and heal all your characters at the end of the turn, and Berseker carried my against all bosses pretty much.
In terms of cards, if you get the +2hp you can try like I did to take things like Berseker / Grim Patrons / Ravaging Ghouls.
Ended up doing it exactly after posting this lol got the spikes that hurt enemy minions for 1 when they're played, the rush dude that fires the cannons after attacking, the +1 dmg to cannons and the horn that gives +1/+1 and taunt and then gets upgraded. As for the card packs I ended up going with all taunts and then just a couple executes and brawls, my 4Alley Armorsmith and 5 Primordial Drake carried hard, also Godfrey seems way too easy, the 7 boss is the actual final boss for Darius cause Lord Lamefrey has a terrible deck and playing arround the HP is super easy.
I've played Darius a TON since monster hunt came out, and every time I've gotten these picks it's EZ mode. Most of the time after you get these you can basically solo the last 4-5 bosses with just your cannons - they're that strong.
To support the playstyle just pick Strike, Warcry and maybe Berserker buckets, which give you a lot of removal and board control options.
Won with 2x Dragonfire Ammo and Tactical Reinforcements - I don't even remember the 4th treasure. Didn't even have a second cannon. Go for Inspire / Hero Power related stuff - I had 20/20 Kvaldir Raiders and such.
I just took all the big minions and the ability where when you fire your cannons it reduces the cost of cards in your hand. 4 mana Varian Wrynn into 2 Lich Kings is great .
I do great with Darius until turn 6 or 7 when I get thrown against the Face Collector and he plays my deck better than me or gets great upgrades with his HP.

i got +1 damage cannons and the taunt package, also i picked every removal possible

i won with 2x Tactical Reinforcements and 1 Grizzled Reinforcement, whenever i fired the cannons something on my hand would be reduced by 4, , so my HP was technically free.

How did you manage that? You shouldn't be able to get three passive treasures in a run.
