Ran into multiple situations today where it seems some player collusion or sharing of information is going on, My normal 3.76 average position since the patch had been reduced to 5.17 and I obviously haven’t changed the way I play,
I've had a number of matches that it seemed like opponent knew what I had and had their order setup in an optimal way to try to fight against it.
I thought it was funny, because many of these were epic fails in a "Good luck with that!" kind of way.
But I think I lost a few times because of suspiciously optimal setups, but whatever. I think they should make an "opt out" for group play because groups should be fighting groups.
Group queue has tainted BGs. Such a mistake by blizz at least not fencing grps off from solo queue. You would think they might have learnt some lessons from WoW and Overwatch. Not sure what they were thinking to be honest.

What exactly you mean apart from the fact that your average dropped? What evidence do you have to blame it on the fact that you were playing against a group?
It is obvious that if groups of friends play together that they will likely cheat/help each other against any strangers, it's a really dumb set-up. Should be a way to avoid that for those who care about their rating.

Non typical minion order that seems specifically setup for my board by players that I haven’t played. Lower tier minions subbed in against my board to disrupt by players I haven’t played.I’ve also seen weak players tie strong players even though there should be no way that happens.
my question was asking if there was a way to see I’m playing against groups yet a lot of people seem to be questioning the existence of group collusion in the first place.
we 100% KNOW that groups will collude. It’s not up for debate. I was asking if there was a way to tell. I would like to know for my data tracking,

It's 100% real. A top ranked player gained 500mmr very easily by using this technique. We have to wait and see if blizzard will do anything about it though

Ugh, that sucks. I figured people may strategically tavern up and play for low damage rounds against friends, but didn't consider tipping opponent boards. What a lousy change to the game.
Meanwhile my average dropped dramatically in the stretch of games I played since the introduction of groups.
Real fun when it seems that the usual highroller is no more, is three or four of them.
BG's seems to be a money sink for Blizzard, otherwise I would not understand why the would tank this mode so hard with this update.
To say on topic: as far as I know there is no way to know a 100% if you're playing a group, but the gaming experience before and after is vastly different (for the worse) so the option is definitely used.

Because it's counterproductive. Ultimately you need to beat your friends as well. Decomposing your board just to beat a player outside of your group - what benefit do you have from it if you beat a player A, but lose to all your friends?
Played many games with my friends, I basically play only with someone and never alone and while we admittedly do share information during the games and adjust our positioning, I have never purposely made my board weaker against the entire party just to beat one player outside of the group.
You make a board weaker by keeping minions in hand when playing vs group members. It can also benefit you in later turns to have that gold saved up in the form of minions.
If you're selling high tier minions that are valuable later on it's obviously bad.

Blizzard is just too bad at their jobs to think about these scenarios. It'll never happen.
Look how long this has been in beta. You'll just have to deal with cheaters now.
blad i bet manz are using cheat software or something to look at your cards swer down

Simple answer is no then.
Allowing teams in a free for all mode is bad for gameplay? No way!
Unlike TFT where you not only can you see everyone's board, you also don't know who you're fighting next.

Sums up why group queue is 100% bad for the game perfectly.
