The Tide Razor and Nat Pagle, Extreme Angler are in the process of being redesigned. Tokens generated by other cards might be a problem that they'll address if needed in the future. [SOURCE]
Balance changes will be happening pretty soon! Eudora in particular is one they want to address. [SOURCE]
Battlegrounds should get their ranking reset soon, seasonal resets, and many more to come. [SOURCE]
Murlocs will get nerfed, Beasts will get a boost. More details in the weeks to come. [SOURCE]
That list is some healthy juicy stuff. You can almost call it a green smoothie.
I feel like they should just bite the bullet on the Token generated damage thing. It's not just Tide Razor and Nat. It's Imp Mama, Sneed, Ghastcoiller, etc.
I love cards like this, and I want them to stick around, but let's acknowledge that it's always going to be a design constraint if cards like these can constantly generate huge chunks of "unearned" damage.

Imo tokens should just count as 0 for the purpose of damage.
That would also prevent "huge" early game token stuff from rats and the like and would prolong the game just a bit, since it's currently way too fast.
And, im still thinking a general set rotation should jappen at any point, you know, new tribes, new synergies, less murlocs in the board. things like that
One thing I hope they can make the matching better in the game, so you would not meet the same person so many times, especially some aggressive ones in early game
Murlocs really need to get toned down, every lobby now is literally who can get more/ better murlocs and just roll everyone else. It can go 2 ways: either like 5-6 people has murlocs so none of them get a good build rolling and end up getting knocked early or there are a lot of murloc builds but one dude lucks out and gets a bunch of good murlocs and a brann and ends up crushing the lobby.
I would also like if they somehow fix the match making while on games. What I mean is that there have been times where I face a strong dude like 2 times in 3-4 games and end up taking insane damage. I think it would overall be a healthier game mode if the top 4 guys kept facing each other and the bottom 4 did the same and maybe every 2 or 3 turns you can get a random battle against anyone or something like that, cause I've been in the gutter, one of those games where you can't really find a good build and I just keep getting the top guys which just makes me take more and more damage but I understand that change will probably never come. I do think that the match making issue should definitely get fixed tho.

Because this is a BG focused sub-forum where we can discuss this far longer than that post stays on the front page, which also gets muddled with the plethora of other normal HS changes of the the same news post.

Upvoted for the corny smoothie joke :)

Otherwise, just make them all deal 1 damage each.
Anything else doesn't address the issue imo.
I hope they also remove Arcane cannon. God i dont think there is a more toxic card ever added in BG.
EVERYONE , GET A BEER!
We need more tribes, now it's like: hurray there's no pirates, so no Cannon - wait, but there's still Murlocs :/
and vice versa.. you know
Mimsy Were The Borogoves

This space is intentionally blank.
tokens: card generate bunch of tokens - at the end they count as 1 dmg.
card generate card: count as 2 dmg no matter how many.
