I queued up some Quest Druid to beat up on Warlocks and Quest Hunters and guess what...I ended up in a mirror matchup! I conceded on turn 23 as I would die 10 turns later to 12 fatigue damage (by 1 turn). Who says long games are no longer a thing?
I love a gamemode where you CAN'T tell what your opponent will be playing just by looking at their class.
Wild used to have that variety, but nowadays not so much for me. There are few variations of seedlock, but still the gameplay is very similar. Nowadays when I see a warlock, priest, warrior and hunter class, I know they will be seedlock, shadow aggro priest, pirate warrior and odd quest hunter; which makes me sad.
I loved wild mode for about 2 years, just because of the very vast variety. I hope it will go back to what it was soon...
Im a wild only player , is the reason I play hs .Don´t let those whinning bad players ruin your fun , the meta is pretty diverse , you can find competitive decks in any class . And people saying is your mmr that is low , that is not true , im in the highest mmr ring ( top 100 legend always facing top 10) opponents) and I face basically every class and a vast range of different decks , welcome to the format and have fun !!!!
Wildplayer for years before BGs started. Still, if I play normal HS I play Wild. Wild meta is shit for years, at least for me. Secret Mage (iksars fav deck who would have thought?) is haunting wild for years, no nerfs or anything, playing against Big Priest is also very frustrating. Now with the Warlock Quest, it got to a whole new level, warrior quesat also supporting a disliked (by me) archtype.
I actually love the current Wild Meta. I can brew my own aggro and fast midrange decks!
Before, to have any chance with fast decks you had to play one of the few optimized or your ass would be kicked by slow priests and warlocks that were everywhere
I have played wild exclusively for the past four years. These days however, I do see the attractiveness of standard a lot more. This has translated into me frequently playing more standard than wild.
The most important reason is the power level of wild, which is through the roof . Even worse, new cards are barely even played and we have seen the same decks for years. Some exceptions are in place of course. Take The Demon Seed for example(although the deck isn't much different from Darkglare warlock). The same could be said for Raid the Docks and pirate warrior, or Alliance Bannerman which has blown new life into handbuff paladin.
Wild has some golden moments however to which standard can never compare to. It is just that these days, moments like that happen more sparsely while the meta decks seem unavoidable.

I just wanted to say that despite I'm getting to the final boss and knocked back that I absolutely love the variety in wild.
Even at rank 1 I'm coming up against what I would consider experimental decks.
What is your opinion on wild?
ur mmr is quite low then. 50% of opponents are seedlock. the rest are pirate warrior odd quest hunter and shadow priest.
Shadow priest is a delight for my deck. Rogue is quite prominent towards the end
Did you really play wild mode?
I met 3-4 decks: Quest Lock, Quest Hunter, Quest Warrior, maybe Shadow Priest
The rest of classes sometimes shows up, but if you play one of the decks above its basicly a free win.
It was maybe the same when there was Secret Mage and Res Priest. It just felt different, since the games didnt end on turn 6-7.

for me, it used to be like that 2-3 months ago.

Wild is a great format,
I find myself play more wild and much less standard, there is variety.

i also prefer wild but you can't tell me there's extreme variety there. It's 5 decks rotating with occasional sprinkle of a cool and fun deck
I think there’s a bug on my client: when I play Seedlock mode I sometimes face other classes. Anyone else has the same issue?
Take a walk on the wild side...
