This card is kind of a scary card. Getting a 4 mana 8/8 with rush because your opponent played a tiny dragon is pretty nuts. It’s gonna mess with some strategies for sure.
8 manas 2/2 rush, if opponent control a dragon this card cost 4 less and get battlecry get +6/+6.
Will be very strong vs dragon deck but terrible vs anything else.
Yeah. That sounds balanced. A card that's incredibly strong against dragons but literally worthless in any other scenario. How is it that you arrived at the conclusion that playing a 4 mana 8/8 if your opponent has a dragon is fine, but the OP part is the fact that if your opponent doesn't have a dragon it's a 4/4??? Do you have any idea of how tech cards are supposed to work???
Honestly, I don't think the card is that big a deal. I think the better Dragon decks will be so strong that an early 8/8 will be a minor annoyance at worst.
The card may help level the playing field between Dragon and non-Dragon decks, but I doubt it will even come close to completely shutting Dragons down.

The problem is the card is extremely strong vs dragons, so strong should have some penaulty putting in all decks.
For example, hunter spell vs secrets was only 1 mana before and have the cost increased to 2 manas, because draw 1 card for 1 mana in worst case scenario and destroy all opponent secrets in the best make a brainless decision to include the card in every deck, 2 manas to draw a single card doing nothing else is much worse and the tech now is only included in heavy secrets meta.
If this card was 4/4 for 4 manas and get +2/+2 and rush vs dragons will be ok, but 8/8 rush for 4 manas is too much strong, put all low/medium cost dragons out of the game, will be a brainless addition in all decks like 1 mana flare was before.
I don’t think it’s that much stronger than Dragonslayer, tbh. The only reason this is good is if Many dragons are in every single deck, then yeah it’s OP, but I highly doubt in a month that will be the case. Not because of this card, but because of tempo and aggro decks. You might just include 1-3 dragons. Is holding on to a dead 4 mana card just to deal 8 damage toward the end of the game worth it? Not really. I think the best long term hope for this card is it’s consistency with Leeroy, but then again, silence would be effectively the same thing if you are using It to kill a taunt. Of course it will be great at the start of the expansion, but it will feel pretty average in a month.
It is nice Blizzard prints cards that counter specific strategies.
So it is nice that there is a counter to Dragons in this expansion.
I only fear this counter is so strong it will make Dragons almost unplayable if "they are good enough to hate".
It will be interesting to see how things play out.

The tech is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too strong, 4 manas 4/4 in worst case scenario for so powerful tech when played vs dragon is terrible design.
Should be:
8 manas 2/2 rush, if opponent control a dragon this card cost 4 less and get battlecry get +6/+6.
Will be very strong vs dragon deck but terrible vs anything else.

Let's maybe let the set come out first.

Dazzle and dominate your foes as the Jewelcrafter!
I would be more affraid of the returning toxic pirate warrior.

Ya-harrr!
We must love the dragons (except for the mean one Deathwing).
