Just played a few games of quest rogue, and boy does it feel bad. Maybe it's just me, and small sample size, but I went like 1-6.
I think the difference between 4 and 5 stats is huge and quest rogue doesn't have enough damage to outrace tempo decks anymore, even with quest done turn 6. The minions are way more fragile to trades so it's hard to take back the board. Even the best combo in the deck, valeera's infinite boar-zola-zola-zola, was barely getting through taunts in the control games.
Maybe we can find a while new way to build the deck, but with the current decklist it feels weak.
The pros were worried quest rogue would still be broken, but everyone wants that broken deck dead. How was your games vs. slower decks, any success? I know pre nerf, you were over 80% vs. control.
Sure, I'll summarize the control matchups ive seen so far:
Shudderwock shaman: auto conceded
Spell hunter: first one was able to fend off my minions with taunts and freezing traps, then killed me with zombeasts. I beat the second one with a lucky prep topdeck for quest and wax eles
Control priest: wrecked me hard with an early twilight Drake. Even after I completed quest I couldn't kill it and got mind blasted soon after
Control warrior: conceded after I completed quest
Baku quest warrior: tough matchup, eventually ran him out of removal and flooded the board
So overall this evening was still a success vs control. The exception being priest, which seems to dish out too much damage
I kinda like that now Rogue Quest can't trade 1 for 1 on Spreading Plague kinda nice. On the upside an entire board of Rogue Quest minions can't be killed by Shadowreaper Anduin. I auto concede against quest rogue as well with Shudderwock Shaman literally no point playing the game. Pretty much impossible to deal with their boards. I honestly don't know if it got hit hard enough BUT with how the meta is shaping out pretty unlikely Quest Rogue will be around much because it can't deal with Aggro decks very well. It's always been a Control Deck counter though, with Warlock being nerfed and the meta seemingly getting faster probably won't see Quest Rogue that much.

When a card gets nerfed 3 times u know its a bad design and u should feel ashamed for playing it.
Yes u read it right i said nerfed 3 times. Expect it to be nerfed again until next exp or as next exp releases
did get hit hard enough
