Been playing this game since 2014. Been a warlock main since 2014 and I can confirm this the most warlock has ever succeded. I mean zoo was pretty popular back then.
There were many broken deck types. Lightspawn+inner fire OTK s (mostly in 2014-2015), MOTHERFUCKING JADEEEEES,big priest big druid, death knights etc. Well as a player who has the Bloodreaver Demon deck it aint no problem for me lol but for those that go against it... Rip. I think they need to tone it down and nerf some of Warlocks cards after frozen throne. Because that DK saved warlock on itself.
I wouldn't say all hope is lost. I've beaten many of them with silencing the slow cards that recruit demons from hand or deck with midrannge hunter decks and I've crushed them too with gimmicky jungle druid decks. Their greed tools and removals rely too much on damaging your own self.
Its those boring ass priests that are the annoying ones with their unimaginative way of playing by playing dragons, abusing barnes rng with big priest or stealing everything and getting stupid lucky value from deck copying cards... It's the boredom of un-originality just like the whole MSG jade epidemic
I saw some people mention it already, but Warlock really became bonkers with all of its crazy healing. Not only did they print 2 of the best healing cards in the game's history (dark pact and spellstone) for the class that has losing health as its defined weakness in the same set, they also gave that same class a dk with an unprecedented hero power for sustain. I can't help but worry for the new meta where archetypes are being made weak on purpose to start the new rotation.
Another stupid hearthstone expert plays 5 games and he thinks he knows everything about Wild meta.
I only playing Wild now because rogue is unplayable in Standard, and all games vs no warlocks are fun and fair.
Warlock is busted in Standard, broken beyond believe in Wild, you admit or not don't will change this fact.
I play a lot of Mill Rogue and I almost never lose to any Warlock but Giants, Cubelock in Wild is a Blessing as you can just Mill them and Sap/Vanish their boards and once you go into super late game there is nothing they can do to kill you.
I agree that Cubelock/Renolock/Demon Controlock is very toxic for the wild meta. It's the main reason I've stopped playing wild.
I don't know what they were thinking when they gave Warlock so much heal coupled with insane aoe and other broken tools.

Look, a lot of people play Warlock. Most people suck at the game. People who lose tend to quit. People who quit don't buy cards. Connect the dots.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
To all the people who have pointed out worse top decks.... yes but absolutely everything mentioned was nerfed.
