people who defend zoolock as a skillfull deck... take you yourself really serious?
Being a mediocre zoo is super easy, yeah. But being a really good zoo takes a surprisingly high amount of game knowledge, it really isn't as easy as it looks (or at least that's what I've learned when I tried to play the deck to understand how to beat it).
You can use this argument for any deck.
True, although many pros (Thijs for example) have said that zoo in particular is one of the most difficult decks to pilot perfect games with.
Thank you, OP, for the 5,000th "Nerf Zoo / Zoo is Braindead / I am a shitty control player deck." Please use the search function if you don't have anything new to add.
As for me, yep, Zoo is my aggro deck of choice, because it is much more interesting and complex than Face Shaman and is actually viable, unlike Token / Divine Shield Pally. I also happen to enjoy Freeze Mage and Dragon Warrior and continue to mourn the demise of Control Priest.
If the meta were as flooded with Zoo and Face Shaman as all of you whiners say and if you were any good at control, you would all be legend players. As it is, I'd suggest spending less time on salt threads and more time on getting better at the game.
Hearthstone is neither sufficiently deep nor its games sufficiently long for there to be any meaningful complexity in ladder play. So seriously, please quit pretending that whatever you're playing is more complex than what everyone else is doing. If you want something complicated, find another game.
Zoolock has also weaknesses. I have good results with my patronwarrior agsinst it. If u can kill the opponents field and fill your side with minions/patrons they are mostly done(sometimes a nasty chargecombo can kill you if you unlucky)?
I like zoo although it doens't seems like this there's a lot of thinking going on.. tapping/board control/resource managements..
I saw people who didn't play the deck before fail miserably.. it's really the most board centric deck in the games.. minion vs minion combat it's the last deck I would say is brainless it's also the most "hearthstoney" deck cause of the board control aspect of the deck.. some people go face a lot.. it's sometimes the right thing to do.. thy fail when it isn't the right thing though that's why not every zoolock player is legend 1.
I don't play zoolock, but I can tell you the deck requires some skill. Right positioning, eficient trading,, knowing how to play around things, right decision making is required to play this deck well.
I have played it since early classic, and i still enjoy it as much as i did back then. Nothing will keep me from playing my main deck. I have always done it, why stop because you think my deck is mindless? It is easy to play, but playing it to its fullest is the opposite of mindless.

Try to explore the unknown mate. Of course there is nothing wrong with perfecting a deck. But after a while surely you want to perfect another type of playstyle

Don't you worry, got competitive decks for all classes. Multiple at that.

I think zoo became less skillful when standard came. To put it simply, board positioning used to win or lose people games. Zoo is more aggressive then ever, and i liked it when it was a midrange deck. New zoo is not nearly as difficult as old zoo, and old zoo was not an exceptionally hard deck. It had a high skill curling to be sure, but it was easy to play
Yes, when winning 5 games gets gold for the warlock dominance quest.
I don't play it in ladder and admittedly only have gotten to about rank 12, but shouldn't people try varieties of decks so they better understand what their opponent might do?
"Do people feel good playing/winning as a Zoolock?"
Yes, because winning always generates a good feeling.
If the deck works...why look for something else to win with?...so your opponent won't complain as much? I don't think anyone cares how they win...they just want the win and don't give a rat's behind about what their opponent thinks.
Golden Warlock was my 2nd golden champion...nothing but Zoo.
Yes, it's one of my favorite decks and I have been playing it since I started playing hearthstone. Seriously I can't understand the hate against zoo when majority of the ladder is warrior and the class is just so good against zoo.
I understand why people play zoo, it's cheap and it's good... but when I stomp all over zoo with my murloc pally (or any other deck for that matter), it feels so unfair for poor zoo, with their cheap low cost minions, spewing them out trying to get board control. I literally don't even have to hit their face once over the course of 10 turns and they are already down to 15 life... Just slowly killing themselves turn by turn whilst I answer their never ending small insignificant minions. It honestly feels like a giant crushing ants, except it kind of feels bad for poor zoo.
However, the worst thing about zoo and other decks like it - is that there is ZERO come back mechanic. If you start to get behind on board, you may as well concede - rather than slowly killing yourself trying to claw yourself back in the game.
For people using zoo to get to legend... it's kind of like that one night stand you don't want to tell your friends about. Yeah of course you'll tell them you got some action. But for fuck sake you definitely won't tell them the details

Been losing tons with Zoo lately... it's strong but if you don't get off to a good start or you ever EVER lose board, you are F*cked.

You can also try freezemage if u face zoo a lot.

My feelings when I crush "smart" 10K+ dust control decks or ridiculous OTK combo decks with zoolock:

Zoo does seem easy to play, but I admit it was kind of harder to play it back in the day (even before Naxx). Still strong and good deck nonetheless.

I just destroyed a Zoo Lock with my Reno Lock. The best part, the guy's name was TwatFucker.
