Spirit Echo is good, but in a "janky until broken" type of good. Volcano is pretty good for Standard, but in Wild it's just situational at best; you can combine it with Acolyte of Pain and Grim Patron for a new deck though there's not really enough support for it right now, and while it's good for clearing out the board, it comes down a lot later than anything else the Shaman has.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they aren't making Shaman an aggro class anymore (at the moment at least), but if Shaman's good, it's going to be off of the Elemental Tag being added to previous minions and neutrals, not so much what we got in this expansion.
Well...Hammer of Twilight was never played before, but with the Elemental tag it might now see the light of day...so that's almost like a new weapon? :P
I'm alright with Shaman not getting a weapon. Jade Claws sees a lot of play and Hammer of Twilight has been seeing a lot more play. A lot of solid cards this expansion too with the elementals and the murloc quest will make a new deck itself. The only card that I would call bad that Shaman got is Primalfin Totem
Primalfin Totem isn't great because it's by itself a good card (it's playable at best). The reason it's good is because it's a central lynch pin that allows Shamans of all types (Totem, Murloc, Bloodlust) access to all of the synergies; playing it T2 after a T1 Unite the Murlocs doesn't count against your Thing from Below and counts for your quest.
It's also a pseudo taunt if there ever was one in the early game because they can't let you get out of hand on the Murlocs.
While they will try to remove it fast, this thing is probably going to average 2 Murlocs against non-Hunter/Rogue decks.

Please don't lynch me just for the title.
Just kind of surprised we didn't get a magical jawbone haphazardly tied to a big bone with some Murloc synergy or something.
Shaman already has enough solid weapons right now. Rogue and Pally didn't have any non-basic weapons that saw play.
Yes, it would be a great visual, but I think we've all seen enough Shaman weapons for a while.

Shaman should really have just sat out this expansion, imo. ;)
Not really many weapons in general in this expansion. I think most people are ok with that.

Eh, it's fine if we are. We're Shamans, we're with the elements come hell or high water!
