Starting to change my mind about this deck. Seems pretty dependent on getting a good opening hand. Find that I either crush opponents or fall flat on my face.
I have that exact same deck (Hsdogdog's) on my profile lol. he ended up reaching rank 3 legendary before turning off stream. Great deck but expensive. Rogues are still decent class!
One of the biggest problems with rogue is the only archetype they really had Pre-GvG was ruined due the Auctioneer nerf. As such, it will take some time/testing to see where the rogue class as headed. They haven't had the luxury that most classes have had where they've been able to take their already imprssive decks (control warrior, handlock, control priest) and add a few new cards to improve upon the creations.
That being said, Hosty recently went 4-0 in a tournament with his rogue deck. I think the potential is there, we just need to figure out what works best.
The real problem with Rogue is, you'll have to play certain archetype of the class in order to do well with it.
For example, The warlock can go for either Handlock, tap the first few turns, drop the giant/drake, control the game slowly by clearing your board and dropping his huge minions, or go for the fast type which is Zoo, and end the game by turn 5.
At Rogue's case is, it's only one archetype that I've kept seeing after the Auctioneer's nerf over and over and over, which is tempo. How many times have you actually seen a control Rogue?! none I bet. They decided to nerf the miracle Rogue (even more), which is fine, now fix the class? nope.
No rogue is fine, rogue is currently just trying to find the right cards to fit in. This is what always happens during an update or an expansion with rogue, the update first comes out and everyone plays rogue for a week, then no one plays rogue for a couple weeks with everyone screaming rogue is dead, then rogue is one of the top 3 classes in the meta and everyone is crying nerf
Here is a mech tempo rogue deck that works against aggro, control and mid-range, enjoy it.
Ah you're right. The OP isn't as good as the #1 player in EU lol. So it's obviously just him.
Rogue is in a tough spot right now. If you have the memory of a goldfish, start tracking your games and you will see that you only face off against rogues maybe 2-3 times out of 50.
I'm not saying that rogue is dead; like lots of people have said, they have just "faded" from the meta, since they seem to struggle against handlock and, especially, mech mage. I know, you can obviously tech your deck to take out handlock no problem (via 2 saps, sabotage, even vanish if you so wish). Mech mage is still a problem though.
The reason tempo rogue is the supposed only archetype for rogue is because that's the main advantage rogue has over all other classes. Low cost removal, allowing you to stay up in board advantage. Rogue is the BEST at maintaining early to mid game control. Gallywix helps out in the late game.
Anyways, I ramble on again haha. Rogue is currently unpopular, but unpopular doesn't always mean bad or "dead". You just gotta be smart with your deck building, and you need to be smart when using your removals.

Very cool concept, upvoted. And i agree with the "finding the right cards to fit in" part, big time.
yeah i think rogue is actually pretty fun. some people saying gvg didn't change anything but tbh, i've been playing fireboat's tinker oil rogue and it's actually pretty good, and added a gallywix which is also pretty fun to play
it's definitely a little harder to play than face hunter and zoo but it's fun to play. i feel like sometimes people get too attached to finding the fastest laddering deck instead of finding a fun deck to play

The representation of a class doesn't tell you if the class is in a though spot or not. It only tells you what most people play. If however you see a class at the very top of the ladder you can be very sure that it is does not suck.
I personally don't care much wether a class is in or not. If it is viable I think it is fine.
As an additional note, that guy is not running a tempo rogue. He is running control.
I guess the biggest problem is that Miracle Rogue was too easy to play, and didn't really give you any experience with the real Rogue playstyle.
I recently got Trade Prince Gallwyx and Dr. Boom, so I gave Hyp3d's tempo rogue a go. More so than any other new deck, this deck takes a lot of practice (namely with mulligans). The only class I really struggle against now is control Warrior, as I only seem to be able to beat them with spell damage double Eviscerates. But then, Warrior is a fucking pussy class that beats all. I don't even want to tweak my deck to beat those faggots.

Zoo, Mech Mage, Face Huntard, Fast Druid or Ramp Druid, Priest is a tough match-up, any mill deck.
Just some of the decks that can "easily" beat Control Warrior. Cos, yanno, Warrior "beats all" that's why all Legend players are Warriors with 100% win loss ratios.
Zoo needs serious luck to beat control warrior and so does Mech Mage (believe me, I know). Druid and Control Priest have a favorable matchup against Warrior, but I lack the legendaries to make them both work. So my only real option would be Face Hunter, and there is no way I'll ever use that on ladder.
I don't think Rogue is dead, Malygos Miracle when tweaked to deal with aggro holds up ok on ladder. You just have to cut the luxuries like Loatheb and Edwin Van Cleef for Sludge Belchers to hold off aggro until T6, Pyromancer helps a lot too, I think he's probably better than Bloodmage Thalnos.

Mech rogue plays similar to the older hunter beast deck: drop mechs, buff, equip weapon, hit face, gg.
Currently rank 9 with a control rogue. Have to say it's one of my favourite decks. The only GvG card in it is Sneed's.

Use oil
only reason to play rogue is to finish farming gold portraits.

This, there is currently a thread about it as well: http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/class-discussion/rogue/27078-eu-rank-1-rogue-xolphor#c15. So OP, it is just you. Rogue doesn't suck.

Rogue is a hero that takes some practice. Plus you need to experiment with cards.

How do you make a deck that beats rogue? Pick any hero besides rogue, hit "done" and let it auto finish your deck for you.
