This is his decklist he used in the EU last call, so remember it's teched to play in a tournament rather than to ladder with.

Sounds like you're playing the deck to value-oriented. In all aggro decks that are not warlock, you will often run out of steam if you're trading too often. I used this exactly list to climb to rank 12 on day 2 and then from 12-8 on day 3 and I'm far from a top player. This deck is definitely not unplayable at all.

I suppose I feel Ichor is the same thing, but perhaps he sees ichor as more valuable.

Anyone able to explain why Slam was cut? Slam seemed to do a lot in this deck and I think you can cut the Faerie Dragon and/or N'Zoth's First mate. Also, what is the point of the First Mate? I feel it's really only useful against zoo, and he clearly cut a ghoul due to the lack of zoo.

posted a message on [ONiK] Kevineter's Resurrect Priest

From my experience, the Barnes/N'Zoth versions of Resurrect priest are far too greedy and inconsistent. I'm also a fan of Pyro's and Holy Smite's over Auchenai + CoH + Flash Heals. Auchenai is rather anti synergy with priest of the feast. Also, the pyro route will open up two card slots for you. I've also been a big fan of shadow madness in this meta. It's good against aggro and also works well against midrange decks that try to utilize barnes.

posted a message on How does Grim Patron warrior take any skill at all

Patron warrior reminds me of Zoo somewhat. They are both decks that the ceiling for skill is fairly high, but at the same time, players at lower ranks can still pull of wins even if you don't play them perfectly (mostly due to zoo's aggro natrue and Patron's combos).

Silly question. Do I find going to work fun, or do I just like the paycheck?

    Quote from notsoclutch jump

If you really want to play scumbag shaman, a reincarnate version will soon have numerous players on Hearthpwn posting threads about how reincarnate Shaman is dominating them on the ladder and that they think Shaman should be nerfed....there aren't any definitive lists, but you need Sylvanas Windrunnerand Al'Akir the Windlord.  Everything else could either be deathrattle cards or just really annoying minions that get you to these combos.  I like Emperor Thaurissan to pull off some crazy combos, but that's just a personal touch.

I actually took this advice and made my own version of a deathrattle/reincarnate priest. It's working great just due to the value of all of your cards. Thanks!

posted a message on Shaman deck for 500 wins

Preface: I apologize if this may seem scummy, but for the circumstances, it's what I want to do.

I've always wanted a golden shaman, and I have my chance coming up. I'm about to undergo ACL Reconstruction surgery. As such, I'll be off work for about 3-4 weeks and will be dealing with pain and pain meds. During this time, instead of dealing with the ladder and ranking up, I want to be a scumbag and drop to rank 20 to farm wins on my shaman.

My question, what changes do you think would be a good idea to make to a generic midrange deck? For example, I want to remove BGH since that's more of a meta card and likely to not be needed at rank 20. Also, I doubt I want a weapon due to the prevalence of Ooze. Anyways, I'm open to suggestions.

    Thank you,

posted a message on The trick to get Rank 5 onwards and get winning streaks

Instead of believing this theory and trying it out, I'd recommend looking at your losing streak which most are claiming is due to RNG and try to learn alternative reasons as to why the losing streak occurred (most likely due to suboptimal plays). I guarantee this mindset will help you much more in the long run.

I don't understand the concept or removing Shades/Belchers with tech cards? I see you gave your reasonings as to why you removed the cards, but it seems the replacements are always situational and reactive. Could you go further into depth on this?

I'd also like to recommend Lothar. I think he's actually new to streaming, but not new to professional Hearthstone. He's a very relaxed player who is like Strifecro in regards to talking through his plays out loud which gives the viewers a good amount of knowledge.

I know this is dead but i fell this is just as relevant as ever.

Kripp: Fun streamer who has a sense of humor. He can make some really in-depth plays. Doesn't try to climb the ladder so we can only rank his arena. He's a very good arena player but is a bit self-centered. He is also fairly salty.

Trump: A great person. Doesn't consistently play on par with the top top-level ladder players. That being said he is really good in arena, where value matters most. He's easily the best entry-level coach around. He's helped thousands of players make the jump from average to good.

Hafu: She is IMO the best arena streamer. As good as Trump, Kripp, and Rats. Check out her stream if you doubt me. She's also pretty good at constructed.

Firebat: He doesn't stream enough but he's as good as anyone else playing constructed. When he does stream it's always a good time. He responds with his chat and is always thinking out loud. He is also consistently promoting fellow streamers. Another great person.

    Forsen:.....no comment.

Reynad: He's really good at constructed but tends to get distracted by his insane chat and donations. I can't blame him, because if 100 people an hour wanted to donate money to me I wouldn't oblige. Even if it was just to spam out loud.

Strifecro and Kolento are ridiculously good at constructed. But they seem to lean towards the boring side. But hey, it's hard to be really good and really entertaining.

In regards to your comment about Strifecro/Kolento, I think calling them boring is unfair. They are two of the most consistent ed and talented players this game has seen. For me personally, the entertainment I get from their streams is valuable education and knowledge about this game. I totally agree that they aren't as loud and obnoxious like Forsen and Amaz can be, but not everyone is entertained by that.

I find it easier to space it out over time. If you put such a large amount of pressures on hitting "x" rank by "y" date, you'll tend to tilt more when you fall behind or have a string of bad luck. Simply understand that you need to play roughly 200-400 games and win about 55%+ of them. How you space them out is up to you.
