Miracle rogue use to be my main deck. Been messing around with some mech rogue atm and tbh I feel like it is a lot weaker than other classes. Very hard to finish games vs. decks like handlock, control warrior, secrets/miracle mage lol
I know mech rogue is suppose to be aggro, but how aggro? Am i literally bum rushing his face every turn? Or do I play more like zoo and clear board? I find if I clear board the game stalls and then the other kid just plays some hard removal haha
I've felt that as well. Unless you get the 2 drop into sensei it feels really underwhelming. I ended up rebuilding miracle with a few changes in cards, and that actually still feels really strong. Don't know that it's top tier, but it should be able to do really well with a good pilot.
Since GvG released, I played against my very first miracle rogue the other day, he ran the typical Gadgetzan deck that we've all seen 100 times, and he still did fine and ended up beating me. He turn 7 Gadgetzan + Stealth, and it still went the same way it used to, just one turn later, didn't seem that awful to be honest, just a tiny bit less powerful.
auctioneer got nerfed, but I don't think it's unplayable, and it is a big part of the decks card-draw. I threw in a one-off ogre, and the 4 drop +3 weapon/random minion (which has done hella work, and won me several games). I'd still like to tune it a bit, but you can take a look at what I've got so far if you'd like here. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/138442-im-not-dead-yet
I'm doing fine with a Mech-Gadgetzan Rogue. Main deck helping to Rank 1 (hoping to get Legendary, but peaking at 3 stars so far). Gadgetzan Auctioneer is still insane with all the spare parts, especially with one of them being a conceal. Gazlowe might help being a 3rd Auctioneer, but I don't own him so I don't know.
Control Warrior feels like one of the easier match-ups, but Handlock is still extremely annoying. Not sure about Mage, but I don't playing like them either.
I think it really sucks right now. I tried many versions including various mech zoos and none was able to win enough, even as low as rank 12 in ranked. Rogue is unplayable and should be buffed somehow to compensate for its crappy hero power and lack of AoE removal. That Auctioneer nerf was a mistake imho.
Blizz doesnt directly buff anything in HS! They rather try to mix things up by releasing new cards.
Waited for a mage buff for 7-8 months. The class finally is able to compete again (i guess^).
rogue is the new paladin. does everything worse than other class.
Except Pirates! Yarrr!
Pirates are fun but pretty bad compared to mech imo. Played them quiet a bit and had to give up because you run out of cards pretty quick and mech minions are more sticky
I think gadgetzan is awesome with spareparts. playin' him turn 6-7 is not as good as in pre-nerf-seasons, but turn 8+, with 1-3 spare parts/preparation its awesome. Miracle Rogue now is a bit slower, but even more consistent i think.
Rogues are in a bad state if you use their GvG cards. They all have way too many weaknesses (except Tinker Oil).
Yes, you can make an effective deck using neutral cards and miracle still. But it's nothing new, nothing fresh. Every other class seems to be having a lot of fun and being very effective with their great GvG cards, whereas rogue was left in the dust.
Just count how many rogue specific gvg cards Firebat uses in his competitive rogue deck. One. That's right. One.
So no, Rogue does not suck, it just sucks if you use the new cards. Which inherently sucks because why even open up expansion packs if rogue is your main? Just stick to miracle. Yawn.

So there is a viable miracle deck for rogue in GvG?
I do not intend on running gadgetzan at all if I play miracle. 6 mana is a joke.
I've been having good success with pirate rogue
Against control warrior handlock control paladin and mage as well?

Yea I was just thinking mech rogue is a version of some zoo lock but even old school zoo lock > mech rogue
Probably try mech zoo for my fast games deck
Well they did nerf miracle even more with the Troggs.
I mean sure Rogue can tempo, but it's easier to face roll as other classes atm, with more variants in ways to play.
Not sure if hyped yet.
Do you have the Mimiron's Head + Conceal wombo combo?
Check here for my new cards!Pokemon HS class! All the Pokemon as HS cards!
Is that a staple? I'm running a variation of kolentos mech rogue deck
Dude, run it. In most games with a mech rogue deck, i pull off this combo. It's just such a simple combo that doesn't take much to pull off

@James1
I think adding Bloodmage or Gazlowe could help (don't own Gazlowe though), but I don't know where to fit them.
Edit: Can finally say I hit legend with (mostly) this deck.

I use it this way. Its pretty consistent, sets up nice miracle-turns and finish opps off
i like new Pirate rogue got me to rank 10 refreshing playing something like that.
My warrior laughs on the all-ins from turn 1. I don't think rogues are weak though.
I prefer to play a ragnaros rogue over a 30-card-draw one.
