I would not goes as far to say that it is dead, we still have see how it performs. There may be a new style of Miracle for us to use. Having the Auctioneer go to 6 mana definitely makes aggro match ups worse and the Druid match up.
i dont think miracle is dead, will simply change the way of playing , the nerf to the auctioneer does not stop the engine draw. ( very few occasions when you play on turn 5 + coin + prep + connceal ) , plus there are new tools that give you more rogue removal, and more aggression . True, the slower decks of miracle ( malygod ) are going to notice , but that does not mean it will disappear , it is simple, as many times miracles will change, that's all.
Seriously let it die. Blizzard has said time and time again that this style of gameplay does not fit what they want in the game. Even if you somehow make miracle work again, it will only be 'fixed' once more.
miracle rogue isnt dead. they nerfed auctioneer because of the use it will get in other decks after the release of GvG. all the spare parts are 1 mana, Druid is already using it, mage may or may not see play with it. even shamans use it from time to time. If anything, now almost all of the 9 classes can make their own miracle archetype deck.
This^ the nerf wasn't to kill miracle rogue, it was to prevent miracle EVERYTHING.

It is healthy for a game to have radically different archetypes. Miracle is usually a very complex deck to play and very rewarding. It is going to survive, but it may have to be more minion based, similar to how that Miracle Druid is now.
Honestly, I hate the Miracle hate. In its current state, in the current meta, with the current card pool, it's a perfectly interesting match. It WAS bad before, but I can't help but applaud my opponent for destroying me with two 10/1 Deckhands now versus the horror of double-Shadowstep-4-mana-Leeroy's one-sided onslaught. It takes discipline to pilot the deck, and I salute that. Perhaps the nerf was necessary with the incoming Spare Parts entering the game, but as a playstyle in Constructed, Miracle in its present form was entirely valid. We need diversity in the meta. Blizzard frowning upon the concept of Miracle is one of the few misgivings I have with their approach to the game. Constructed should have a healthy range of viable decktypes. Let's save the intense focus on minion trading for Arena.
I mean, it's not like Miracle doesn't have glaring weaknesses either. It needs every answer it has. Having finite damage in the form of spells and ephemeral minions is kind of a big deal.
Farming for my golden oozes seems like a long, long journey :/
I don't really get why they would nerf this card, miracle is not as great as it used to be, we have loatheb, even more "stealthed gadgetzan killers" are coming with gvg release and they still want to obliterate this archetype.
Not to mention Miracle was the only legit combo deck in the game which adds variety into a game full of Undertaker decks. Apparently Blizzard doesn't want that. They want us to play decks with 25 minions and 5 spells and just bash face mindlessly. How sad. The worst part is Miracle was the only viable Rogue deck and it was still underplayed compared to other classes. Rogue is now dead.
Miracle was a mutant creation and likely unintended use/abuse of Gadgetzan. If a rogue can get Gadgetzan out and stealth it, its more than likely game over. Here you are saying that its not fair that they took that away? Give me a break. Miracle is not fun for anyone who its up against and that is exactly why its going straight to hell. No classes win condition should rely on neutral cards to carry it. Sorry for your loss.
And if a Hunter plays turn one Undertaker and you don't have an immediate answer for it you most likely have lost the game. Undertaker is a neutral card so I fail to see your point. Many people don't have fun playing against mindless aggro decks but they dominated the ladder. That argument is poor. In card games the four archetypes are Combo, Control, Aggro and Midrange. With this nerf, Blizzard has all but removed Combo from this game. How is that okay? If Miracle was so strong why was it in the bottom two classes played with the lowest win rate of all classes? Check the stats, they speak for themselves. They nerfed a card that was the engine of the only viable for deck for the entire Rogue class. Miracle's days of dominating ladder were a long time ago. This nerf was completely unnecessary and oddly timed.
My argument is excellent. Undertaker is not the classes win condition. Doing as much damage as fast as possible is that decks win condition. Try not to come here and tout your crap when you are the one who thinks Rogue is dead 6 days before an expansion drops, unless you are Jesus of course for he is all powerful and all knowing.

Damn. You're dumb and painfully ignorant. That's quite the combination. Do you know how combo decks work or is Hearthstone your first experience with TCGs? They have a single engine (in this case Auctioneer) that fuels the deck and allows them to win the game. Obviously, an aggro deck isn't going to have one single win con. The entire point of an aggro deck is to have a large amount of redundant threats that do the same thing. By the way, have you stopped and noticed that you're in a thread full of people that agree that the Auctioneer nerf was unnecessary or is life under a rock more conforming?

Thanks. At this point, Miracle is about the only deck I don't play (or at least haven't played in a while), but I'm always happy to face one. It makes me smile when a Rogue first daggers up and holds onto it. Restraint and economy of action defines the skilled playstyle the deck demands. That first non-attack is often the move that reminds me I'm facing a player with a brain.
Here's to hoping Valeera defies death again, somehow.

Wielder of Botsbane, The Slayer of That Which Has No Life.
Miracle Rogue has apparently been "killed" more times than Jean Grey in the Marvel comics. Every time I see ppl say it is dead, someone wins something with miracle rogue. I don't exactly agree with the change, but it is what it is.
Sad to see the nerf, after playing Druid, Rogue has been a lot more challenging to learn (miracle) and play well. The first time I played miracle on the ladder I lost a million games in a row, it is not an easy deck to learn and I just started getting better at it. Miracle Druid is fun also. Oh well at least I have a golden Auctioneer.
Miracle isn't dead. We can rebuild it. We have the technology. Mech Miracle Spare Parts Rogue

It's not that hard: control wins aggro and loses to midrange. Combo should never be included in this equation. I'm a banana. Bananas don't speak English. Even though I am not a fan of the nerf, I am sure there will be something for Rogues when the new expansion comes out. I will definitely test things when it comes out.

Time is precious. Waste it wisely. Legend Seasons: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17
Current deck: Not playing much anymore
Highest rank: legend rank 9 Highest finish: legend rank 103 Infinite Arena Player

Also first post. Hi!
Posting in this thread to necro it after people find great new ways to play rogue.
It could evolve into a rogue mill deck.
Those take some serious skill to play right, as it's often as good to not mill as it is to mill.
