I am currently using a spitefull priest deck for climbing the ladder, including lady in white; prince keleseth and 2x psychic scream. I can imagine that for most people that sounds bad bit at least around rank 8 ( where I am currently add) it seems to work most of the time. You use taunts to keep agro at bay, sometimes you reset the board with psychic scream (or put dudes/void lords/cubes back in the opponents decks) and than you slam the opponent with big minions (either by lady or because of spitefull priest).
I can imagine keleseth seems a bit greedy but it's more or less another way to buff your deck full of minions when you wouldn't draw lady in white. I feel that I have more of an edge when he is included in the deck, while the drawback of not having other 2 drops is relatively small (because of all the taunts in the 3/4/5 and 7 mana slot). Maybe you would loose one or two games because he is included and not other two drops but I feel I win an equal amount because of the boost he provides. No hard data though so might be wrong.
I'm currently creating some stats for the 7 vs 8 drops and (on average) it seems the attack for 7 drops is 4.8 while the attack for 8 drops is (again on average) 5.6. health has a smaller difference of 6.2 vs 6.6.
That is however not how it works (you either get a 1/1 which sucks or a 9/9 which is great). So I'll need to see how many 7 mana minions havr decent stats/abilities vs the 8 mana minions.
That's not so easy. One thing that is clear is that the variance of 7 mana minions is higher than 8 mana (and especially 10 mana) minions. Making it more of a "guess".
But because you have lady in white you don't need to worry too much. If you get a bad spiteful summon, but lady in white (and 2 board clears) you might just win anyway.
I personally have tried many variations and I've cut the spiteful package altogether. I think you'd be better off either choosing a Spiteful or a lady in white strategy, i dont think doing both is a good thing.
Trying to mix quest and spiteful, quest and lady in white and dragons, etc.. has led me to the same conclusion. Its better to keep focus on what the deck is rather than throw everything in there...

Yeah I totally get what you mean and without psychic scream I think you are totally right. However psychic scream is Just such a strong card in the current meta.
It basically messes up your opponents draw big when timed correctly and playing spiteful after a psychic scream clear is typically super good tempo. I feel that by including lady in White you stille have great late game plays and doesn't really matter else because the rest of the deck I would keep the same or similar.
I might be wrong though, r7 now (only play 2 games a day so not so bad than)
How have Grizzly and Matriarch worked out for you ?
I find the deck a lot of fun so feel free to try (and when you would have made changes please let me know :-)). Do consider matches are typically pretty long with the deck so you will need to enjoy that.
I have found matriarch and grizly a nice fit. Good synergy with lady in white and both good enough on their own. Of course their usage is very different and I must say that most other drops I typically play before matriarch. But matriarch coupled with some damaged minion and cleric is quite nice.
When spiteful becomes 7 mana I might however choose something else for matriarch, but need to see how big the impact is of the change.
The most interesting part of including psycic scream in this deck is that I finally had a chance against taunt druid. Earlier there was almost no way to beat them (without a lot of luck) now if you psyic scream their cubed hadronax + a wall of taunt (and later a second time) makes them loose so much that they typically cannot regain the lose of what they had build up.
If you try out the deck let me know what you have seen/felt about it!

What do you think/feel about the deck?
Edit: it feels super bad to get lynessa sunsorrow for 7 mana but most other drops are not so bad and you still have more chance on a 8 or 10 drop
Thanks for the reply!
