Priests are just annoying to play against rather than op. All those steals and copies from your deck bring too much salt. Otherwise priests are destroyed by aggro the same way like jades. And they are also mostly destroyed by jades, so how can they be more broken than druids?
If the problem is which class tilts me the most? Then I agree, and nothing tilts me more than turn-4 Barnes into Eternal Servitude.
However, if you define "the problem" as which class warps the meta game? The answer is Druid. You can look at how tempo storm has kept the joke of "S Tier" which now includes all druid decks. The rise of Priest is just a result of the abundance of Druid decks.
well i misnamed the thread. my idea at first was addressing the problem of priest getting broken cards for 3 sets in a row. half way through i came up with the idea of making a huge click bait so people will actually read.
they are not desroyed by aggro. they can tech in a tar creeper and there's allweys the good ol' potion of madnass or a pyro combo or an auchenai circle to wipe the board.

priest board clears are like having fun in hearthstone. you think u had enough, and then u get more.
and me(i have 70% winrate against druids with my deck and i would love to see them more in my rank of 13) being salty is a direct result of the rise of priests which makes playing a control deck an impossible thing.
Last expansion everyone laughs about how Priest will die into trash tier when Dragon priest rotates. Now its broken cause Barnes? XD the card that with a combo that other class can use?. Priest is not the only class with resummon Barnes minion mechanics. I mean yeah we are the best in that theme (main priest actually i dont play Big Priest cause i dont like karazhan) but that problem rotates next year and isnt even a meta deck cause you lose 2 turns just summon minions that can get Hex, Poly, Aldur, Silence, and the oponnent get free face damage 2 turns in a row.
I polymorphed a Priest's Barnes pull. He case eternal servitude the next turn and conceded. Apparently he didn't know polymorph doesn't count as killing a monster

Right now Big Priest is Tier 2. It's a pretty solid deck purely because of the vast amount of removal at their disposal as well as the ability to discover duplicates of said removal.
Both are a problem, but priest is way more infuriating to play against as it is literally several coin flips deciding whether you win or lose. I'd rather play against fucking pirate warrior during gadgetzan
Both are problem. Priest is a problem expecially in wild. (due to Reno dk priest, raza and heavy remouvals)
Oh for...yeah Miracle was a problem too. Freeze mage is a problem, cause they get more tools for otk combos or 20+ damage. What other is a problem? Control Warrior in their strong times, Warrior "eveeeeryone get in here" was a BIG problem. Mech Mage was a problem, i can name all the decks that are a problem in present or were a problem in the past. This is a card game eternal formats everytime generates over power decks in every card game, you cant nerf all this decks just because of that.
Only when is reaaaaaalllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy a problem we need to call for a nerf or ban (HoF) of the standard format.
When I run priest, I make a drinking game of it. Every time I summon an Obsidian Statue, I take a drink. The game quickly morphs into how many misplays can I make and still win, and eventually how many random friend requests can I send and get people to engage in drunken conversations. Try it sometime.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Why can't everyone just be happy with the game and enjoy it? It seems every good card or class is complained about. Join them or counter them. It's simple.
when counter them goes by: have exactly polymorph, potion of madnass, or hex as a control deck, on turn 4 or play soul staining aggro, people are getting annoying.
I mean, priest did get some love but that's just part of it. I am a Golden priest (and Hunter, Pally, Mage) and I have several diff priest decks and still find the ladder challenging. The card you are referring to is primarily used in the "big priest" deck which is a very effective deck BUT-it has its problems too.
First, there is no way someone can drop a 4-mana Lich King or any big minion for that matter. In order for that card to work, you have had to already play one of the big cards AND have had it killed-it only lets you choose a minion that has already been played and killed. Sooo, technically, the earliest you can actually potentially play a big minion like Lich King is on turn 4 if you play Barnes and then it's still not guaranteed on which minion you will get... so, I suppose if you played Barnes turn 4, then opponent killed it same turn, then you could drop Servitude on play 5.
And this deck STRUGGLES against any type of Aggro deck. You basically have to work on board clear for first 4-9 turns in order to set up your big minions so, like I said, this deck has its problems too.
I am still finding Druid and Quest Mage to be the kings of "broken" for this new meta.

there are two potions of stupidity that allow priests to deal with fatser match ups.
priest board clears are like having fun in hearthstone. you think u had enough, and then u get more.
i'm not complaining about the deck. i'm complaining about priest getting dumb cards for 3 sets in a row.

As I said in another Priest thread - the class is doing incredibly well right now. But a problem? No, it's not a problem.

Yeah, Hex and Polymorph are one of the easiest ways to totally shut that deck down.

Play the game. Or don't. It's a game. Get a life. Seriously.
