That’s a tough one. That card is a lot of fun for this deck and has won the game for me over and over. If you want to play this deck, I highly recommend getting it. Once you force feed the board back to your opponent once or twice with Psychic Scream and then steal their deck, it’s powerful.

I have found it to be quite competitive on the ladder. Priest in general (in my opinion) is strong currently. I am also running (and just posted) my take on a Wild Brann-Dragon Priest that is doing very well for me. Feel free to check it out and see my take on an oldie but goodie. I created it just earlier and so far on a 9-1 run.

And yes, you are correct-Big Priest gives me fits with this deck-however, I honestly just haven’t seen many being played. Good luck and thx for comment. Cheers

Again, honestly only reason is that I am playing the Wild side this season. I do have a standard version as well and works great.

First off, thanks for sharing your deck and taking the time. Not sure why people actually take time out of their day to bad mouth others who just wanna share their insights and decks. Grow up nerds. Anyway, I am an avid priest player and deck looks interesting. I will be adding some silence in there to counter warlock. Oh and I also added Lady in White to bulk up all the Drakes. Bout to give it a go. Cheers!

First of all, excellent write up and thanks for all the work you put in on helping and educating others.

I too love mage with over 800 wins for that class. I also have all the cards in the deck. However, given current meta, I really see a need for either a weapon removal and/or a silence I realize Spellbreaker is costly (mana-wise) but what about ironbeak?

Anyway, for now (and haven’t even played it yet), I took out bloodmage and substituted gluttonous ooze-again, because of the numerous weapons played against, also to provide a little armor and due to the already numerous opportunities for card draw. Not gonna change anything else for now nor run a silence and give her a go. Thoughts on the weapon removal and silence cards given your extensive playtime with this deck?

    Thanks again.

Just gave her a trial run, 5-0!

It CAN be very annoying, no doubt. On same page. However, it can also be entertaining...... especially when the annoying peeps keep talking smack-I usually stay quiet until time to crush em then I have fun..... otherwise, I just keep saying "thanks" or just squelch em.

Agreed 100%. I've been running my Aggro paladin and just destroying druids, big priests, mages, etc. shot from (wild) 20 to 13 undefeated

Yeah, I know what you mean. And yes, in that particular deck, your right, it would be a ginormous minion-I only run big ones in that scenario. So yeah, it is most definitely a huge late game boost but again, that deck is very susceptible to aggro.

But your right, priest did get a great card. I ran that "big priest/servitude" deck yesterday and ran on ladder from rank 20 to 14 with one loss-to aggro deck.

I undedstand your frustration on priest. I am currently having the same frustrations playing against Druid and quest Mage.

Hang in here, things will change up-they always do-eventually.

I mean, priest did get some love but that's just part of it. I am a Golden priest (and Hunter, Pally, Mage) and I have several diff priest decks and still find the ladder challenging. The card you are referring to is primarily used in the "big priest" deck which is a very effective deck BUT-it has its problems too.

First, there is no way someone can drop a 4-mana Lich King or any big minion for that matter. In order for that card to work, you have had to already play one of the big cards AND have had it killed-it only lets you choose a minion that has already been played and killed. Sooo, technically, the earliest you can actually potentially play a big minion like Lich King is on turn 4 if you play Barnes and then it's still not guaranteed on which minion you will get... so, I suppose if you played Barnes turn 4, then opponent killed it same turn, then you could drop Servitude on play 5.

And this deck STRUGGLES against any type of Aggro deck. You basically have to work on board clear for first 4-9 turns in order to set up your big minions so, like I said, this deck has its problems too.

I am still finding Druid and Quest Mage to be the kings of "broken" for this new meta.

Yeah, it's nuts. And if you look at the "tempo storm" website you'll see that the new Top Tier decks for this expansion are ALL Druid decks-like, 5 of em. Wow. Way to keep zero parity.
